Yummy! Need to try this!

Some of these sound really good!

Where did you move to? I can totally understand what you mean...I moved to Texas recently from L.A. and I miss my Trader Joe's!
-
I just restarted week 5 again...it wasn't as hard as last time, but I could tell I hadn't been keeping up with it faithfully! And yes, you can walk or do another exercise on the day off. I think the general rule of thumb is not to work the same body part on consecutive days.

Do you have an iPhone? There's an awesome C25K app that lets you play your own music in the background...it's so great. And it tells you when t run and walk and when you're halfway done. That way you don't have to keep looking at the clock. So worth the $1.99.

I'll be restarting week 5 again! :explode:

You can look at mine.

I swear, I was just thinking that while on the treadmill at the gym today! Most people seem to work hard all summer to get/stay in shape, a lot of people forget about it come winter! So for those of us that can keep at it all winter, we'll be that much ahead come summer! And alllll of those people who wait il Jan 1st to…

I don't do the podcasts, but there is an iPhone app that's great! It has every week and uses voice prompts so you never have to keep looking at the timer. And the best part is you can listen to your own music in the background, not generic background music. It was only $1.99. Well worth it!

Is that what the difference is? I started back on WW on Monday and have had a good week, and didn't really seem to struggle at all. I kept trying to figure out what was making the difference.

125 lbs lost! Awesome!!
-
Alyssa, that might be one of the cutest babies ever in your picture there.
-
I'm a thread killer too!
-
I do that too, set the incline to level 1, I put it on random so it's like small hills! I run at about 5mph. I'd rather be able to complete the whole thing first, then work on speed. :flowerforyou:

I have tried twice, butI can't jump from 8 minutes to 20 minutes just like that! Im going to try to work up slowly, I have a hard time doing the 8 minutes, but I can do it. I'm just going to try to up it by a minute or two until 20 minutes isn't impossible. Anyone else have trouble jumping from 8 to 20 minutes?
-
I did W5D1, and lived through it. Then W5D2 bumps it from 8 to 20 minutes! That's quite a jump. I'm going to give it a try today, though,

Telling yourself that you're awful and your suck is not going to help at all! You need to get out of that habit, quick! I know it's easier said than done, but that'll ruin it for you every time!

Are you enjoying that book? A friend of mine mentioned it and it sounded interesting. Texas Fried Pecan Pie (drizzled with caramel sauce) sound deliiiiiiiiiiiicious!

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/64585-my-scale-isn-t-budging Yes, I am in the same boat! That's my thread there, posted just a few days ago. It's tough, but the only other option is quitting and gaining it all back...and for me that's not an option.

I'm going to go back to counting points on Weight Watchers. That's what I was doing when I lost the 25 lbs. I'm still going to track everything here, but I'm going to go by points instead of calories. If I start losing again, well then, that's what works for me!
-
I'm going to go back to counting points on Weight Watchers. That's what I was doing when I lost 25 lbs from January to May. Since then, I've been on a plateau and I think that may be because I abandoned points, started tracking here (which I will still do) and ate back my exercise calories (on WW I never ate my activity…
-
Wouldn't 95-19=76? I know it's only ounces difference, but if you're being strict with it...
-
From January to May I've lost 25lbs. I've been at a plateau pretty much since May. I exercise at least 5 times a week, and just started a C25K plan and I am on week 5.
-
Interesting exercise, I'll give it a try, thanks!
-
Are you eating before exercising? I find that having something like a banana or a piece of toast would help.
-
 Yes, I would think that inwardly! But I would be really happy and accept the compliment graciously! It's a hard habit to break, but I am breaking it!
-
I think I like preserves best...I like chunky and fruity! Kinda like me!
-
Thanks for the advice, everyone! I'll definitely check out glucosamine. It's just tough because I know I have pain because I've been waitressing for 15 years and every time I pick something up at work, I can feel it! It's not so much when I'm doing regluar day to day things...mostly at work. But that's what I do, that's…
-
Do you still have pain from it?
-
Hey! Welcome...I'm not very far from Dallas! :flowerforyou:
