Well cardio creates a bigger deficit than strength training. I would probably do lightly active TDEE - 20% and not eat back any exercise calories from the strength training.

Well, he did just invite her to watch football. It sounds like this was him meeting a friend to a watch a football game with his date. OP might just have to let this one go, because he does not seem to be into you the way you are for him. And you might just keep setting yourself up for more hurt feelings. Give your…

It's not just the single day. The problem is all the leftovers that can be eaten for days afterward. I anticipate eating a lot on the day and continuing to eat through the weekend. Come Monday, I'll get back to regularly scheduled programming.

500-1000 calories depending on what I'm doing. Typically at the higher end as I spend roughly 60-80 minutes per session doing cardio and strength.

Do a search for protein consumption in the forums. I think there were links to research . I do remember reading "something" in the forums about the body being able to actually use a certain amount of protein. I think it was 30g or something like that. I think this might be where meal timing becomes important depending on…

Your *kitten* might be disappearing because you're in a deficit, not because of cardio. Maybe reduce the deficit and do what everyone else has suggested.

Breakfast: 30% Lunch: 40% Dinner: 20% Snacks: 10% 2,000 - 2,400 calories The bulk of my calories are consumed before the end of the work day. I work out after work and need to be properly fueled.

I'm a very goal-oriented person, so my weight loss goal is like any other goal. I do not accept failure. I will keep working at it until it is accomplished. So, when I don't feel like it, I remind myself of what needs to be done to achieve the end goal.

How long have you been a gym member? Years, but more consistent in the last several months. How often & how long do you work out for? 60-90 minutes, about 5 days a week What's your favorite thing to do at the gym? I hate the gym. I do cardio and weight train. How long did it take you to enjoy and get that *feeling* of…

I think it is brave of you to admit that you went about weight loss the wrong way, by not paying attention to nutrition and running too large a deficit. Thank you for sharing, and I wish you luck in getting healthier.

No I don't feel like it, but I do.

If you hadn't spent 135 minutes exercising, would you have still eaten the ice cream and other treats?

You could just MYOB and then write a success story on how great your routine works for you to better influence those ton of people. I cardio because it increases my calorie deficit, lifting weights alone does not burn enough calories for me to have that be the primary focus of my exercise routine.

[/quote] I am going to be blunt with you here: then you need to work on your emotional resilience as much as your body. This looks like a thread where you are seeking validation of your own beliefs from punters on the internet after a hurtful comment. That is perfectly understandable. You don't, however, need that at all.…

Maybe try going low carb, high protein and exercise for the next 5 weeks?
-
Nope, I hate it It never gets easier, because I try and keep the intensity going I'm very goal oriented and I know that exercise will help me meet certain health & fitness goals
