This happens to me regularly during my Body Pump classes. It is a very small section of one lift/track that always gets me. It's only about 20 seconds long but by the time I get back to the standing position I start to get that faintness/dizziness. What has helped me is making sure that I pay extra attention to maintaining…

I run into this same issue on some nights when there are no Body Pump classes and I have to hit my backup gym for a free-form workout. What I do sometimes is try and do my own Body Pump class. Take a small piece of paper or a note card and write down as many of the Body Pump exercises that you can remember. If you are new…

This is exactly what works for me! Sometimes if I really feel like I am tempted to eat something I look it up on MFP and once I see the enormous amount of calories I have a much easier time saying no!

Fair point. Although I use it as a low cal flavoring additive in my shakes and not as a peanut butter substitute per se.

Probably not the best for your body, but I do love some Sugar-Free Red Bull (8oz - 10 cals). It's expensive though, so I usually stick with a cup of black coffee which is free at my office. For me, coffee is like beer... don't like the taste but I do enjoy the effects! :drinker:

Thanks for pointing this out, as I missed it the first read through as well. I was starting to worry about my BodyPump/Sh'Bam combo nights (yeah, I Sh'Bam, what of it  )

You are very welcome. My sister and her two children just moved in with me while they sort of out some recent events, so I'm starting to get very familiar with learning to avoid all sorts of new food temptations. I try and visualize myself literally stealing food off their dinner plates. This helps motivate me to not eat…

I don't know much about eating disorders but I do know this: You are very courageous to share your problem with all of us. Don't stop with a forum post, find someone in person to talk to. If you can't find a family member you feel comfortable with, find a trusted friend. If you can find a professional, all the better.…

Thanks and nice work! One of the keys for me was simply learning more about myself... developing all these little tricks was basically just self-discovery. None of them work all the time, but together they can be very effective. The more you learn to ignore the little voice that tells you to "drink this" or "eat that", the…

PB2 is a powdered peanut butter product that basically has all the oils/fats squeezed out of it. It's low cal and has a ton of pb flavor. You can use it in a variety of ways... I use a single tbsp (23 cals) of the chocolate variety in my protein shakes and I absolutely love it. More info here :…

I've definitely struggled with this throughout my life. Only recently (last 7-8 months) do I feel like I have gotten it under control. Here is what worked for me. 1. Really truly decided enough was enough. This is easier said than done right?! 2. Eliminated 90% of my alcohol intake. My binges were often facilitated by…
