Definitely agree with both of you. I don't care about sweat, germs or any of that stuff that may or may not be on the machines or benches. But I sweat quite a bit and I want to respect my fellow gym members who might care about it. So I take a few seconds and wipe it down when I'm done. I'm actually a bit surprised at all…

Oh and if you're tempted, SKIP the pirate museum. It might be good for kids, but everyone in our party found it pretty cheesy. Just stand out front on the street and listen to "Captain Black Sparrow" do his routine and you'll have more fun and save money.

From the Port in Nassau I enjoyed the walk up the hill to see Fort Fincastle. It's old, historical, and super cheap if that's the type of thing you're into: http://www.viator.com/Nassau-attractions/Fort-Fincastle/d420-a480 That sites says admission is free but when I was there in April it was something like $2 to get in.…

I KNOW, it's crazy right?!

I could not agree more, Engaging the MFP community has definitely been part of my success. Get active on the forums and get active on your news feed. It may be surprising how helpful encouragement from relative strangers is. CONNECT with others just like you and pay it forward to new members you come across.

I am 5'9" and 330 lbs. My actual goal is around 2000-2500 cal/day. I almost never log exercise, although I do track it using an HRM. I have my app goal set to 3000 because some days I exercise much more than other days (and thus eat more) and I hate seeing the red number if I go over  My TDEE is around 3300 with the…

Interesting info from Consumerist.com: http://consumerist.com/2012/08/southwest-bills-customers-multiple-times-in-failed-facebook-promotion.html "While many debit card customers are understandably angry it can take 8-10 business days for the incorrectly debited funds to be put back in their bank accounts, it should be…

Agreed. That response was not rude at all. I actually found it to be more civilized than most when the terms "Dr. Oz" and "jump start your metabolism" are posted. If that list helps you lose weight, then great! But it doesn't mean you're losing weight because you follow those rules. You lose weight by consuming less than…

She makes me laugh... somewhere under that LA exterior is comedy truth.

I was thinking the same thing! Well done Ricky, go get the rest!

This sounds like an great candidate for a submission on http://consumerist.com/. They have a huge following and your case could gain some serious traction there. If nothing else go to your local branch and plead your case. Find the branch manager and explain. If you get nothing, hit social media and put the word out. Good…

I know! I realized it after I posted and was hoping you wouldn't notice. That's what I get for reading the thread backwards :blushing: That being said, I'm totally on board with your version of events

Haha LOVE this one!

Chuck Norris once slammed a revolving door.

200 pounds lost. It's gonna be tough but I'll be very close even if I don't quite get it.

Here's my advice... Stop worrying about "the number". I'm not sure where I'll stop, because I'm not sure at what number I'll like the way I look. Stop when YOU feel you look good, not because you reached some arbitrary number that is tied to a ancient and bogus formula. And speaking of bogus formulas... F#&% BMI.…

You look AMAZING! :drinker:

Agreed. If someone came up to me and said anything along the lines of the "tattoo meaning" or "so good looking you should be on TV", I would absolutely assume I'm being hit on.

I just had an actual uncontrollable lol at my desk with my boss sitting across from me. Well done turlehurdle

Definitely exercise for me. Sometimes when I'm having a really down day I go for a run with some music. I don't run much, but it helps clear my head and seeing the sights pass by and some good music in my ear makes me feel better about myself. Another trick I use is to prepare all of my food for the next day. It makes me…

I'm not even sure how many carbs per day is considered "low carb". I eat around 150g per day which is anywhere from 30%-40% in my macros.

I use EAS Chocolate Whey. I absolutely love it. I mix it with a variety of things, but mostly PB2 Chocolate, skim milk and a small banana.
-
I find this to be absolutely true on both counts.
-
I was thinking the same thing. Also, "Rev your metabolism"... WTF does that even mean?!
-
I eat anywhere from 1800-2500 calories a day. I burn about 800-1200 calories per day in exercise. One days I burn more, I eat more, but I never eat back all of my exercise calories.

I agree.... it's basically my entire wardrobe so it's going to be very expensive :grumble: Better safe than sorry I guess.

Wow I had no idea! I've been using concentrated DHMO as a high-powered stain remover when I wash my clothes for a long time now. I need to call my doctor asap. Thanks for putting this important information out there!

You, my new MFP friend, are looking PHENOMENAL. Keep it up and soon you'll be at your goal! :drinker:

Amazing job to everyone who has posted! Here's my updated before and after shot (top left at around 510 lbs, bottom right at 330 lbs)
