  • And don't let Week 5 Day 3 freak you out...I was shocked when I did it. I start week 8 this week and feel good. Remember you start at a brisk walk and if in a treadmill 2mph is walking 4mph is jogging and 6mph is running. With this in mind anything 3.9 and under is your brisk walk. I range from 4.5-5.5 for the jogging…
  • Have you looked into post-work drinks from GNC or similar stores?
  • I like tuna on my salad and one day accidentally bought it in oil...strained it a little and left some oil in it when I added it to my salad. Then added "spices" (I mix it up now)...and don't use any dressing at all.
  • For me it was when I completed Week 5 Day 3 of C25K...the wall day.
  • Just eat it...get it out of your system. If you don't this early in you will end up "sneaking" it. Exercise/walk prior and a little extra the following day. Earn it and you will not feel guilty!
  • Glad I'm not the only one to see W5D3 and go AHHH I have D2 tomorrow and D3 Friday and I'm terrified...Then I looked at W6D1 and realized it's a test. then my wife reminded me that 4mph (on the treadmill) is still technically jogging (I average 5-5.5) so as long as I stay above that I feel I'll be okay. One "trick" a…
  • Great job! I had the same fear, plus being large and thinking people would stair at me kept me slow for a awhile. Finally I bought a hoodie and pulled the hood up and cranked up my music. Now I don't care if I sound like a Clydesdale lol
  • Is no one from the MFP Staff on this??? I've contacted Fitbit as well.
  • My wife and I find it a great tool and challenge each other to have top "scores". She beats me on the stairs days..darn one level building for my work haha.
  • I literally just watched my changed over the last hour or so...and it keeps going down. I took my fitbit off when I got home from the gym so no data has changed. What gives???
  • Get a FitBit...when we walk the track a for a mile I burn less than on a casual hike. The Fitbit tracks my altitude gains and activity level and I feel it's pretty accurate.
  • I'd email CS at Fitbit to see if they have a list of vendors in your area. I know Target and Best Buy here in the States carry them in store...be sure to buy the extended warranty! My wife has washed hers 4 times now lol
  • My wife and I use the Fitbit Aria and it is pretty accurate, but is affected by water intake. We trust it though. Plus since it syncs with our Fitbit accounts we have a good journal of the changes from weigh in to weigh in.
  • Serving size? Wait...Avocado???
  • I find the Labatt 52 to be a good "light" beer. Worth checking out since my usual of Yuengling is more than double :(
  • As a hardcore energy drink addict this was a tough one for me...The V8 Fusion Energy Drink is good and as times I have a can of seltzer water with Mio Energy in it as both are 0 cal!
  • I've had mine a few months now as well as my wife. We both find it to be a good motivator and try to get the badges before the other one does. Also makes logging the daily walks easier. I recommend you buy from Best Buy and get the extended warranty as you WILL put it through the washing machine! We have...twice lol

  • So whats in it lol...Cals?? :)
  • I like the Spicy Black Bean burgers (120) on Flax Seed Bread Thins (100) with Guacamole (2 TB @ 66) or with a Laughing Cow wedge (35-45). Great Lunch with a cup of salad mix (8) and Walden Farms salad dressing (0). Total Lunch= 294 or 263
  • If you google it there are great articles about. Nothing like a panic attack, been there lol. More or less its a condition that causes extremely low blood pressure. If I lay down or stand up quickly I get light headed/faint. The added sodium/caffeine helps to regulate and keep my blood pressure up.
  • Also thank you everyone...very helpful so far!
  • Made these today, but used 6 tablespoons of Chocolate P2B and Almond Milk with Vanilla Creme Whey. Then put it in a mini cupcake pan. Made 24 bites at 43 cal a piece. Very yummy, the only mistake was I added a cup of Almond milk and they are a little "wet". Very good though!
  • Yes it is...my doctor told me to up my sodium and caffeine, which I found odd, but it has helped dramatically for me at least!
  • If you used P2B powdered peanut butter I bet the cals would be cut in half!
  • If I have time I like a Thomas plain bagel thin(110c) and Laughing Cow cream cheese (45c) with a coffee (2c). If I'm in a hurry them yogurt with protein powder added.
  • This is the same strategy I'm using...so far so good!
