I also want to see my arm flab disappear. But my biggest thing is the hanging stomach! I hate it! It has GOT TO GO! But how do I get rid of it?

I just add lots of ice and a squeeze of lemon juice. Ice cold water tastes so good.

At a 67 pound weight loss, TRUST ME, you're definitely not half assing your weight loss! Forget what everyone else your height is aspiring for. Do what works and FEELS best for your body!

I am soooooooooooooooooo happy to see this post! I thought it was just me! I'm not striving to be a single digit size. My body just isn't made that way. I still want ALL OF MY CURVES! I'm looking to get down to about a size 16. I felt really good at that size and had the type of body that made men stop and stare at that…

Good for you! There's nothing like the feeling of putting on your old clothes and having them be too big!

Way to go! You look fantastic!

I'd lost 24 pounds before I discovered MFP. I started searching the net for weight loss support sites because I realized I needed the support of others who were also trying to liver healthier lifestyles. Since joining MFP at the end of Feb. 2012 I've lost another 24 pounds for a total weight loss of 48 pounds since July…

This is a great tip! Log EVERYTHING even the stuff you don't want to. LOL You're only cheating yourself if you don't. Being able to see it all in black in white is a real eye opener for many. It was for me. Now I know where I need to cut back.

You can totally lose 35 pounds in 19 weeks with a little determination. That breaks down to just .54 pounds per week! You can do that! Cut out all liquid calories to start with. I did that and lost 24 pounds (in three months) almost without trying! Let's do the math for a 20oz bottle of Pepsi assuming you drink two bottles…

My summer goals: 1. Start adding resistance and/or weight training workouts. I'm currently doing mostly cardio to burn the fat. 2. Lose 15 pounds by my birthday in mid July. 3. Take a cooking class to incorporate all the healthy food tips I've been amassing in my three ring binder. 4. Enjoy the summer!

I'm 47 and embarked on that same journey in July 2011 for medical reasons as well. I'm glad to say I'm down 48 pounds! Woo hoo. My best advice is to take it slow and steady. No fad diets. And as much as we hate to admit it, exercise is a MUST. To take it off and keep it off you have to exercise. Wishing you luck. I'm going…

My goal is the same. I also lost 50 but gained 2 back last week. So I'm down 48 since last July and have 52 to lose. I don't even know how to friend people on here but I sure would love to have a support system. Last week was really rough for me foodwise and I have no one to help me through the rough spots.

The first thing I'd do if I were you is get your blood pressure checked. That's what was leading to my headaches. Everyone's different but you should at least rule it out.

That's fantastic! Way to go.

Way to go, girl! Keep up the good work!
-
Both of you look wonderful and happy! Congratulations!

That's exactly how I kick started mine! I had no idea how many calories I was drinking instead of eating!

Returning to the gym for a second Zumba class tonight.
-
Congratulations! You look fantastic and your smile is beautiful!

You're an inspiration to me because that's exactly the amount of weight I want to lose! You look fabulous! Keep up the good work, girl.

There's no such thing as being too fat to be here. That's just you're insecurity talking. But that's ok because we're all insecure about something. I've only been on MFP since February but so far I've found the community to very warm and inviting. Welcome and feel free to friend me if you'd like.

I'd also go with a new battery first. If that doesn't solve the discrepancy it's time for a new scale.

I'm not there yet. It's taken me ten weeks to lose 22 pounds and I'm happy with my progress so far. My mini goal is to lose those eight pounds in the next four weeks. My long term goal is to lose another 40 pounds by Christmas.

Personally I don't like the word "cheat" because it implies we're doing something we're not supposed to do. The fact is that we have to eat for the rest of our lives so I don't "diet." I eat as healthy as I can and that doesn't mean carrot sticks and salad. LOL I search for healthy recipe versions of my favorite foods and…

I watch The Biggest Loser religiously but I'm very conscious of the fact that this is not a sensible way to lose weight. My (late) mother was an RN and she used to always say that the only way to lose weight is to eat and exercise. Yes, I said eat. She said so many people don't realize that food is the body's fuel. It's…

It depends on the day because I don't like to eat the same thing all the time. But I have a few breakfasts that I eat that are under 400 calories. Today's breakfast total was 328 calories. 150 2 large eggs scrambled (using cooking spray) 90 2 strips pan fried bacon 35 1 slice light whole wheat toast 53 1 cup of sliced…

This is my first time joining a challenge but I'm going to try it. Wish me luck!

Congratulations on such a huge accomplishment!!!!! You've totally inspired me to keep on going. Over the past few days I'd been thinking about giving up. Not now! Not after seeing your success story.

I had around 90 pounds to lose and I've lost 50 total (22 since joining MFP)! People starting noticing at about the 20 -25 pound mark. This is a personal journey for me. I want to be able to get off all of my blood pressure medications and be as healthy as possible. Today I went to visit my sister who I hadn't seen in a…
