You guys are great, thanks for all the info. I have started working out again, and when cooking I make pretty healthy meals. I have struggled with eating at least 3-4 times a day so more will be a struggle but I know I need to work on it. Any glycemic info will be great. I will try to get medical advice, etc when I can.

Do you happen to know any good websites that have a list of glycemic foods? Sorry I can't respond to everyone right off... my lap top is a pain to work with and it's tough doing it from my cell phone. :)

Sorry, I check in here now and then. I don't use MFP much, I got really obsessive about calories for a while, to the point I was really sick. I am still doing ChaLEAN though (actually thinking of investing in Insanity too), I am on my last month!

Hey, can anyone give a rough estimate on the length of the workouts? I am interested in the program, but am trying to invest in things I can fit into my schedule.

I have noticed that when I do HHA I have to REALLY mentally focus on the moves and even then I usually don't feel it in my abs til the next day... then I am sick to my stomach! :laugh:

You may had to go in and edit some of the items. OR Add them on through MFP separate. I always ended up frustrated with the spark one....

You're results have been AWESOME! I am curious what kind of workout you do at the gym for 30 minutes to get those results. I am gonna end up missing some of my program due to a returning soldier and being out of state and need something I can do anywhere.

LOVE ChaLEAN Extreme, it was so worth the money! I haven't lost weight per say but looking at my muscle tone, it's amazing!

I am currently in my 3rd week of the LEAN phase (which in my opinion it the toughest of all the phases). I have really enjoyed the program and although I haven't lost much weight the muscle tone is GREAT!

I love Shaun T... he makes me giggle. I am currently doing ChaLEAN Extreme but on occasion for an extra boost I sometimes toss him in. It is a real mood lifter.

Totally! I have pushed to hang on to 30lb weights to do lower body work but my wrists killed afterward.

It's okay... As you go along you won't be as sensitive about it, cause you'll have more of those "ah ha" moments as you go. Even when I do get those moments, I sometimes have to have them 3-4 times before it finally clicks. :flowerforyou: I'm like you, I think I am just eating... but in reality... I'm indulging.

In the LEAN phase you are working upper and lower body with weights at the same time. The main focus is the core. So, for example... being in a runners lunge and doing rows.... bicep curls and hamstring curls.... I am having to work separate parts and try to focus on both. Almost passed out (literally) at the end of Burn Intervals today... figure I should be concerned about that. I haven't had that happen since the first week I did ChaLEAN. I usually workout first thing in the morning before I eat anything.... Any ideas?

My suggestion is to invest in a heart rate monitor. Calorie burn can vary greatly due to many things.... At 180lbs... my burn will probably be different then someone who is 130lbs. Also, if I only do a half-a$$ed effort one day and someone does 110% effort it would throw off the count too. :flowerforyou:
