I have a bunch to lose and I log in every day. I will be supportive and hope for the same from friends. Consider adding me!

I have a lot to lose yet too. I've been on MFP for almost two years now, logging in every day. I will be supportive and look for the same from my friend. Consider adding me!

Would Wisconsin be close enough? I've been on MFP for almost two years now and I'm looking to increase my friends list, since I recently culled those who are inactive or non-supportive of my efforts. Consider adding me!

I've been on MFP for almost two years now, logging in every day. I've recently culled my friends list to leave only those who are active and supportive, and to leave behind those whose values are very different from mine. I lost 50 pounds but gained 25 back recently. I'm looking for new friends to fight the good fight…

Leftover bbq baby back ribs and sauteed cabbage.

Thanks to all who offered up your favorite places! It's so interesting to read what inspires you all. Or, if I'm going to move to the south, do I have to say "y'all"? I'm sure I'll have fun investigating some places. Thanks again.

I am type 2 and although my A1C is a little over 6, not by much. My answer to your carb question is - There are Carbs and there are Carbs. I shoot for under 200 a day, but to me, the carbs in broccoli and not the same as carbs in a piece of Wonder Bread - know what I mean? Go for the nutrients and the fiber and don't worry…

I would steer clear of this relationship. If/when he makes steps to get healthier, you could rethink it, but if you are on a healthy path right now, I can't see anything good coming of hooking up with someone who is not interested in it. You can't save the world. Take care of you, first.

A baked chicken thigh and a square of homemade eggplant parm.

I have practiced some form of meditation on-and-off for years. I really like Deepak's calm voice. Makes me look forward to it every day. I'm going to see if there are any CD's I can get of his guided meditations. I'm sure there are. As for where I posted this, I couldn't find a category that it fit in, so there you have it!

You need a new doctor. Yours is nuts.

Tell the staff and keep telling them until they do something. The last thing you need is for this to spill into the parking lot where it could potentially turn dangerous. Do something NOW!

Never in a million years. I'd just back off until he/she got the hint. If they don't, sucks to be me.

I believe it was LaCrosse, but I'm not sure. The video's gone kinda viral. It's even on cnn.com home page this morning.

Don't want to be harsh here, but each candy bar you eat, each kilo you gain, is another step towards diabetes. I know from experience. You do not want to be there.

Exactly how I feel! I thought it was just me. I hope some good tips come out of your post.!

Read "Wheat Belly" by Dr. William Davis. Very enlightening. I would like to try not just gluten free, but completely wheat free. But to me it is just so difficult because you find wheat in almost everything. I would encourage you to try it if you are interested. I bet you have good results. If you do, keep blogging - I'd…

Wow! Can I do that, too?

I did a couple of things to help get over the fast food thing. 1) Watch a video or read up on the internet about what's REALLY IN fast food. It will make you think twice before putting that crap in your precious body. 2) And this is really nothing active you have to do - after time, the cravings diminish. Especially if you…

Sorry, I just think you're bragging.

Do you have a gluten sensitivity or allergy?

I think you have a couple of things going on (I'm a lot like you). First of all, there is a real, physical addiction thing with carbohydrates. Those sweets, breads, rice, pasta things. When you cut back or eliminate those, your body does go through a kind of withdrawal, I think. It took me a couple of weeks to get past…

most definitely greek yogurt. It satisfies like reg. yogurt never could, at least for me.

I try to log every bite that goes into my body. It's the only thing that keeps me honest. If you start to fudge your facts, it's a slippery slope to stop logging altogether. It's happened to me in the past, and I will not let that happen again.
