  • Congrats WantToBe!!!! That is amazing - and love that your hubby is supportive. My hubby has been awesome too - and reading your mail has prompted me to thank him! He spends a lot of time alone with the kids while I am off running, working out, or off at the gym. But hey, we all benefit from this journey, right!…
  • Congrats for starting! Remember you can always substitute the stationary punches for anything with jumping - it drives the heart up just as well, if not better than the jumping jacks! Believe it or not, in a week or two of doing it everyday it almost gets easy! I could barely finish some of the upper body stuff when I…
  • Good advice! Someone told me that once - have nice workout clothes, and you will WANT to work out!
  • Hey Ladies! I'm hanging in - but I am still at Level 1! I have been doing it as part of my workout routine, usually with additional running, so I have not gotten around to learning a new one. Today is the day! Good luck to everyone! :flowerforyou:
  • Hahaha - I can relate - I wear the pants out with ballet flats - shopping, groceries, etc - and I think they look great! The fabric is AMAZING!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Oh ladies - it's great, isn't it? And if you are busty, they make tops that look cute, while giving you support! The site is.... http://www.lululemon.com/ Apparently there is a warehouse sale coming up in July in Hamilton! :flowerforyou:
  • you amaze me!....to have a stomach like that after having a child :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: and imma just do tons of crunches and see if i can see any results by november...because thats when i had my son and reports say u should give it atleast 1 full yr before u expect to see big results....:) thank u for the info…
  • i second that!! [/quote] Thanks ladies. :blushing: My stomach took a beating with my pregnancies - about 10 pounds ago I still had cellullite on it! I do crunches like crazy, and I know everyone says that crunches dont matter if you have fat around your middle, but, for me, I feel a huge difference if I am doing lots of…
  • I will PM you with all the gory details of the belly transformation from pregnancy!!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Yeah Misty, I wanted to ask you guys about that.... my left foot feels like there is a bit of bone pain when I am working out! I have new-ish Nike runners, so I don't think that is the issue. It must be a lot for our joints with all the jumping day after day! What do you think? :ohwell:
  • Welcome!!! I have been a little absent lately due to vacation, but I'm checking in here and there!!! The other gals are here and checking in regularly too! How's everyone doing? :flowerforyou:
  • Great! Thanks for sharing - I find moisturizing and tanning makes them look better! I only have them on the lower left side of my belly - none on the right - as my son always seemed to be on that one side when I was pregnant. I embrace them as the memory of my pregnancy, and I can still remember running my hand over my…
  • I am having the same thing happen - working out like crazy (some days a 40 min. run and an hour at the gym of strength and cardio) and I have only lost 3 lbs in 3 weeks. The first week I GAINED 3 lbs! SHBoss and others have really stressed the small goal/ adequate calories theory - so I am going to switch from a 2 lb/week…
  • Tonight we are doing..... Tilapia (frozen filets - broiled with EVOO and cajun seasoning, serve with lemon) Steamed broccoli (with lemon and sea salt - after cooking) Peaches and Cream Corn (for the kids - not me!) Brown rice This is a meal we have a lot, and it is soooo easy. My kids love it all too. :flowerforyou:
  • AMAZING! Congrats - you are an inspiration! Wishing you continued success! Betty :flowerforyou:
  • Wow Jimmy! You are like an anatomical model!!! Did you get ripped like that with P90X? You look awesome!!! :noway:
  • THANK YOU ladies! You've made me feel GREAT about this, and that I am not alone. It is still REALLY frustrating though!!! Congrats to all of you for sticking it out, and doing so well - you all inspire me! My waist is down from 31 to 28.5 in 3 weeks... My hips/bum is down from 42.5 to 40.5 in 3 weeks.... So I can't…
  • Thank you for this message - you really do make me feel better - I like to know that someone else has had this same experience! I WILL stick with it - as my hubby says, I FEEL better, and my quality of life is better, so regardless of what the scale says, it is doing me good! I do feel stronger! I felt stronger almost…
  • HELP!!! Ladies, I am ready to quit. I am up 2 pounds this week. How is this possible? I've eaten my calories, done the Shred eveyday, plus other cardio. I want to quit - this is SO frustrating!!! Anyone else have a slow start like this? :ohwell:  Betty BIG congrats to Misty and all of us for sticking with this!…
  • It's water. Yes, you can hold 3 lbs of water. Easy. Restaurant food is SOOOO high in sodium, and the crappy carbs are causing additional bloat. One cheat meal a week can actually be good for weight loss, you would never gain 3lbs from one meal. Step away from the scale. Look at the big picture. :flowerforyou:
  • I have frequented various gyms since the age of 16.... imho, you can get as good a workout at home! Jillian Michael's Shred DVD, P90X, Chalean Extreme, Turbojam, and other workout DVD's can give you as good a workout. A set of free weights, a mat, maybe a treadmill - and you are ready to go! A gym is typically a huge…
  • Hey Kandy - glad you are lovin it! I'm still here ladies - I am moving onto Level 2 tomorrow - I did three weeks of level 1 - now it's getting pretty easy, so I am heading to level 2! I can't wait to weigh in on Monday - I am FOR SURE feeling slimmer, and my size 8 jeans fit nicely yesterday, without a muffin top! Have a…
  • Hey!!! I'm here! Thanks for posting VaniMani - I'm on vacation, and only get to a computer here and there! (not like at home - checking in a hundred times a day!). Good luck to everyone! :flowerforyou:
  • Congrats! What amazing progress with your blood pressure and your medicine! You healed yourself!!! AMAZING!!!
  • Hey Misty!!!! So I started at 165, then at weigh in #1, I was 168.5!!!!!!! ARGH!!!! But it was the very day I got my period. Then I peeked for tomorrow's weigh in, and I was 164.5 - what gives? I've lost inches for sure, so that is promising! CONGRATS on your 15" - WOW!!!!! My hubby (a work out buy - very knowledgeable…
