  • Congrats on your loss! You look absolutely amazing!!! I am currently training to compete in an NPC competition as well! I am 6 months out since i still have a ways to go!!!
  • Of course i am in! I will be competing (hopefully) 2 and a half weeks after that on April 6th in my first competition so it works perfect! I have another 30-50 lbs to go depending on my body composition, fat %, etc. Let's do this!!!! =)
  • Hey - all HRM should have a calorie burned function.
  • Hey!! Feel free to add me (anyone for that matter). I am very serious about my lifestyle change, eat clean, workout hard and log daily. I am constantly offering support and encouraging and motivating others!! :flowerforyou:
  • That's an ab/core exercise. Do you have a HRM? That's the best way to track and record. If not, search for Ab Exercises or log it under light calisthenics. Edit to note that MFP does highly overestimate calorie burn. You really should get a HRM if you want accurate recording!! =) Good luck!
  • Congratulations!!! That is an absolutely amazing accomplishment and you should be so proud of how far you have come!!!! I understand being emotional because when i hit one-derland i was too!!!! Keep all the hard work! You are doing fantastic!!!
  • That's absolutely wonderful!!! Congrats to you and keep up all of your hard work!!!! You can do this!
  • What are you eating? Exercise does no good if you are eating bad. IMO, it's 80% diet,10% workout and 10% genetics. Eat clean, watch your sodium and sugar, drink a ton of water and tea, cut out alcohol. It's amazing the benefits that will have. Then add a combo of cardio and strength training will help make them show and…
  • I am doing my first competition in April and this will be super helpful! Thanks for posting.
  • Hey Jodi! I am exactly 7 months out from competing as well! My first competition will be April 6th. I still have a ways to go on weight loss and work on toning, which is why i am training so far out. My eating is dead on. I am a very clean eater already. Just this week i started on competition diet. I am always on MFP and…
  • Welcome!!! I am always happy to motivate and support and think i am a little inspirational!!! Check out my profile and see if i am the type of person you want to add. Feel free then! Good luck!
  • For competing, nutrition is a HUGE part of it. You need to eat super clean and super strict, especially close to competition time. It changes the shape of your body, how you hold water, how you appear (popped veins and muscles). That's why competing is for those who are very serious. It takes a lot of determination and…
  • Definitely invest in a HRM. I was burning 500-800 calories doing Insanity. The circuit training on here will be way low.
  • Welcome Kalika!!!! Feel free to add me. I am a huge motivator and supporter and like you don't get it from my family, although my husband supports me 100%!!! Your children are beautiful!!! Good luck on your journey!!!
  • Greek Yogurt or Greek Frozen Yogurt - much healthier than ice cream and with extra protein!!! I also almost always eat a cup of cherries as my after dinner dessert. Satisfies my sweet craving and does wonders for my sore muscles!!!!
  • ^^^ THIS!!! ^^^ I have always been a huge water drinker and 120 ounces seems to be nothing for me! I have seen all of the same benefits you mentioned. People thought i was crazy when i told them how much i drink. I do still pee a lot! :blushing:

  • I own all of the Best of Clean Eating Cookbooks as well as the Eat Clean Diet Cookbooks and eat out of those all the time!!! Some of the recipes are super quick and easy and others are a little more labor intensive, but they are all DELICIOUS!!!!!
  • Definintely my husband and i! We eat 90% clean. I try and make everything from scratch that would normally be bought as a processed food. The exception is Ezekial Bread and Greek Yogurt. Feel free to add me, or anyone else, and you can see my daily diaries!!!
  • I'm thinking there is no one out there who has gone through this... =) LOL
  • Walk by Pantera! Come on?!? Who doesn't get pumped up by that song!!! But i have to say all things from Godsmack to Led Zeppelin, from Cavo to Timbaland , from JT and Britney Spears to FFDP and MDD, from Nicki Minaj to J Lo and Pitbull to Jay Z, Beyonce and Notorious BIG, from Finger Eleven and Seether to Mike Posner and…
  • I would definitely take the $1M. I am not a risk taker for starters. I hate gambling and have terrible luck with instants... so... That puts me towards $1M! My husband and i are very blessed, fortunate, lucky and very thankful for what we have now (which we earned and worked our A$$ES off for). The $1M would surely be…
