"A squat grey building of only thirty-four stories. Over the main entrance the words, CENTRAL LONDON HATCHERY AND CONDITIONING CENTRE, and, in a shield, the World State's motto, COMMUNITY, IDENTITY, STABILITY. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

I did a month of Insanity and got bored with all the cardio, but I do really like the way it increases your endurance. Have you considered doing an Insanity hybrid. I just started the P90X/Insanity Hybrid and think that I will like it. If you do a hybrid with some type of strength training on the non-Insanity days, I would…

You look amazing! I'm starting where you did and am built about the same; so your success is very inspiring!

Amazing job! My husband just deployed; so I'm hoping to be able to surprise him in a similar way. Thank you both for your service!

Wow, Zerowolf, too bad you don't know what satire is!

Please listen to everyone who is suggesting a rescue! Our area humane society often has purebred Rottweilers that people have surrendered for financial reasons, "too much energy," etc. Additionally, why is there such a need for a purebred? We had one that someone gave us, and he had all kinds of health problems associated…

This might sound a little weird for the chafing, but I've worn men's 9 inch cotton boxer briefs for undies with dresses. It helps a lot, and they're quite cool.

I have a Mio HRM, and I love it. It's personalized by your age, gender, height, weight, and resting heart rate. You can change your weight, age, and resting heart rate, and it adapts to that. It seems to be pretty accurate, and it's a huge motivator in being able to see what you really burn. It's also just like a watch; so…

I sent you a friend request. I need to lose about 70 pounds too. I'm just finishing my first month of Insanity and need to really clean up my diet.

Please just get a good heart rate monitor. This solves a lot of problems and motivated me to work or exercise more intensely. You will be surprised at how many calories you burn lifting weights or mowing the lawn (with a push mower of course). The basic element here is that you need toware ofhat your body is doing when…

You look really good, and your waist is getting much more refined.

I would highly recommend getting a heart rate monitor (that's an HRM to the person who asked). They're rather addictive because you'll want to wear it for everything. I wore mine (a Mio) when push mowing the yard and was surprised that I burned over 600 calories just doing that. For Zumba, I agree with others that much…

Do you have Insanity? If you do and work at the level required, you'll easily burn that with one 40 minute workout. With my HRM, I burn up to 700 cals per workout most times.

We have a kelpie that we got from the Humane Society. She's too smart for her own good. She rings a bell to go outside and uses her cuteness to wear us down. She's actually been great for motivating me to get in shape because she needs so much exercise; she truly is tireless.

I'm 38 and have just finished my second week of Insanity. I need to lose about 50 pounds, and unlike you, I'm not a very athletic person. However, what has surprised me is how quickly you build your endurance with Insanity. It's torture while you're doing it, but you feel so good when you're done. My husband has been doing…
