I was also confused about eating exercise calories. I thought that you were supposed to burn more calories then you eat to lose weight (or whatever). If anyone would like to add me as a friend, I am willing to accept any advice!

I currently weigh 255lbs (just started my working out and eating right after having a baby 6 weeks ago). My pant sizes range from 20-22. I weighed 232 a couple of years ago and was in a size 18.
