Yeah I did no "warm up" other than the 5mins of walking... next time I'll open up my arms first!

Protein!!! MFP sets your protein way too low, try to get 100g a day. It's nommy and makes you feel fuller. WATER!! Water is very important. It will make your skin glow, keep you regular, and can help keep you fuller between meals. There is no exact answer as to how much to drink, but invest in a really pretty/fancy…

Thanks :) I thought I was trying to "relax" my arms, but maybe I was worrying a bit too much cause an obviously very seasoned runner got on the treadmill next to me and made me nervous!! roflmao.
-
At the moment, I love the treadmill. I can zone out without running into pot holes ect ect (I've hurt myself many times that way! lol) But I'll be moving soon, to somewhere a lot more runner friendly with footpaths everywhere so I reckon I'll prefer outside then :)

I just started the Couch to 5k program, loving it already! Would love some friends <3

I steam mine! Soooo juicy and tender :D

How many cals do you eat normally? Of course eating at maintenance for a week won't hurt! But maybe if you're hungry all the time, you should be eating more :)

FOR AUSTRALIANS! It's stocked in Woolworths, as "Slim Pasta" in the health food section near all the gluten free stuff :)

^^^ You can pretty much kiss goodbye the flat tummy until after you've had the child (given you are keeping it, from the feel of the post I assumed you are).
-
Oh trust me, protein is not the problem. On my good days, I get over 100g of protein per day! If may be the fat though :)
-
Hmm I do try and get good fats in, like cooking in olive oil when I do use a fry pan, peanut butter toast, small amount of bacon ect.

Guys, I wasn't asking for relationship advice. I was asking for help on how to get to the gym. As for my membership fees, I cannot "get out" of my contract. I either have the pay the months remaining at once if I cancel, or leave it as it is and pay the $65 a month until it ends. So keeping my membership active is the…

Is the strap tight enough around you?
-
I think the reason you don't see your changes much in the mirror is because it seems to be mostly behind! Wow your back/hips/thighs have toned down!
-
No because it was a 12 month membership. Locked in till next March, otherwise I would have just cancelled it case closed. :( The thing I'm irritated with is the money going to waste!
-
They're both our kids. I can't just up and leave because I know if I did, he wouldn't look after them. He'd likely lock them in their rooms until I got back and just put headphones on so he didn't have to hear them cry. & no, no daycare at the gym.

Strawberries. Strawberries is how I get through it. They are delicious and packed with sugar, but super low calorie. Om nom nom. When they aren't in season or can't afford it... it's a hell of a week ><

Talk to him about it. He will regret not being more engaged in the first few months, within the first 18months all the BIG changes happen.

Men generally don't want to feel like they're gonna split their gf in half when getting intimate... just my opinion. A healthy weight is perfect imo :)

Every time you push your muscles with strength training you do damage to the muscles. It is important to rest so that they can rebuild, get stronger, so that you can damage them again. When you do too much strength training you cause damage on top of damage and it catches up with you. 3 days of strength training a week is…

Mostly BUMP reply, but please try to find time to read New Rules On Lifting For Women. I think it would help with a lot of the things I see you asking about in the forums :) xo

That's the thing, it wasn't a rough week. It was a week like any other. Except I gave into the temptations that I face every day. My husbands HORRIBLE eating habits, the constant presence of my kids junk food in the fridge/pantry & the fast food restaurants that we drive by all the time. I just gave in, and I'm still…
