Working out during ToM always seems to help me with a variety of symptoms (bloat, cramps, irritability, fatigue). With that said, however, my symptoms aren't severe enough to stop me from going-- they just require a little more get-up-and-go than other times in the month.

Exercise/long walks in the neighborhood (I live in Mississippi so the winter has been kind) have helped me immensely. My fiancé has tried to convince me to start meditating, but I am the type of person who has a hard time sitting still and shutting off my mind. Just TRYING to meditate makes me stressed out. if it fits, you sips? (cheesy i know) i suppose it depends on how much you want the milk and flavorings vs. black coffee. a tall (12oz) "skinny" hazelnut latte (nonfat milk, sugar free syrup, espresso) runs around 100 cals. worth it to me every once and a while.

spicy tuna! try to stay away from the fried versions that a stuffed with cream cheese and/or mayo. Also, if you're not watching your sodium, a nice cup of miso is a good addition.
