Bump. Thanks for sharing with us! PS: Your fiancee is absolutely gorgeous :blushing:

I joined Team Canada (#4 and 5 I think). Looking forward to a challenge :)

You truly do not even look like the same person! WOW! Thank you for sharing your story and your accomplishments with us :) You are very inspiring.

I left out the egg (due to an egg allergy) and it was far too spongey. I often do this and the recipe usually turns out fine. However, I could have used this cake to clean the house lol. I'll try it with apple sauce next time.

The first time that I attempted them, I failed miserably and didn't go back to them right away. Everything takes time. You know your body best. Maybe you could ask your doctor or a physiotherapist for some other strengthening exercises and work your way through them.

I have had trouble with my hips, though not as bad as you. I found that (for me personally) working on strengthening my hips helped. The most effective was a Spider Plank: To do the Spider Plank: Get into plank position-with hips lower than shoulder level. Tighten your abdominals (pulling them to the spine). Pull the right…

Haha, I never get to read your posts because I'm too busy staring at your tattoo; Way to distract the other members

I was so very guilty of the "asthma" excuse. When I finally started on my journey several months ago, I couldn't do 2 minutes on my elliptical, nor could I get through an entire 20 minute Jillian Michaels DVD. I stopped many times just short of passing out. But I pushed through it - with my rescue inhaler in my hand (and…

That was quick! Thanks :) I could comment on every one of those... but I won't get into that debate tonight lol.

I use http://webprod3.hc-sc.gc.ca/cnf-fce/index-eng.jsp It's by Health Canada. I use it for cuts of meat, vegetables, fruits, etc. I used to trust the values on MFP, but I've found that many of them contain the wrong information and I'm not going to edit every entry I come across, nor do I want to weed through the hundreds…

According to most medical standards, the healthy weight range for 5'3" is 104 - 141 and for 5'4" it's 108 to 146 pounds. Give or take a margin of error as it differs a little depending on who you ask or what site you use. I wouldn't put too much emphasis into that though. Each person is different, and depending on your…

Thank you for sharing that site!! So much to try... so little time! lol

You are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your story with us. I don't think people in general believe that there is no magic pill, or spell, that will take the weight away. Like anything else you want, you have to work for it! You have done a phenomenal job!
-
Bump! This sounds delicious :)
-
I tried to get the pictures to show, have you changed the link? or moved your pictures?
-
Yes, thank you for sharing. :) I'm still trying to learn about macros and timing, etc. - I know everyone is different, but I like to hear about what works for others. For your pictures, you just need to add [ img ] before the link and [ /img ] after the link, without spaces.

You look amazing! Thank you for sharing your story. We are pretty similar, I'm 5'3" and started at 217lbs :) It's great to see someone with similar stats have such great success!
-
Thank you for sharing your story! You look amazing :) Do you mind telling us what your diet is like now?
-
Bump. Sadly, I thought I WAS different :( They lied...
-
Wow!! You look amazing, incredible, gorgeous!! You certainly don't look like the same person. Kudos to you for sticking to it! You are my new inspiration! What a transformation :)
-
You look fantastic! Great work! We are pretty similar... I started at the end of February of this year at 217lbs too! and I just hit 157 yesterday :) It's a long road, but it's so worth it :))

Lately I've been obsessed (yes obsessed lol) with steel cut oats, flavoured with cinnamon and fresh, chopped apple. I really don't miss the sugar (the apple is sweet enough) and it is heavenly. I chop up my apple and add it just before the oatmeal is ready to take off the stove... but I like my apple to still have a little…

I have four dogs. They like to keep me busy :) Here are Dory (Valley Bulldog), Kali (Newfoundland/Retriever cross) and Tasha (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retreiver/Labrador Retriever) and here is my boy! He is my babe.
-
I'm Canadian too :) I'm way, way over here on the east coast (in Newfoundland  ). I'm a Mom of three, sometimes four if you count my husband lol, looking to become lean and mean.
-
You're so inspirational!! You truly look amazing :)) I hope to one day achieve results like yours, thanks for sharing!
-
I use the same ratio (40/30/30) and I found increasing my protein to be tricky at first, but it's not really that hard. Lean meats (watch the cuts of the meat), and a good protein powder will help. You can also incorporate things like hemp hearts into your diet - throw it in a salad or your oatmeal, bake it into something,…
-
The scale is a notorious liar!! You look great! Love your results :)
-
Sounds great to me!! I'm more focused on body fat %, but I like the accountability of a challenge :)) CW 159.5lbs How will we keep track?

Today is Day 4 of Level 1 for me. In my opinion, it's a great workout! Plus, it only takes 20 minutes out of your day, so eve if you have a hectic lifestyle it's easy to fit in. Don't let it fool you though... it may be only 20 minutes, but it's a tough 20 minutes and you will be sore after (unless you're already in…
