BUMP!! I'm also interested in hearing what you would say to someone who questions your eatting habits. I have lost a fair amount of weight so far, and I'm still classed as overweight. I'm only 5' 3" and I think a goal of 135lbs is a good starting point for me. I try to not discuss my weight loss and fitness goals with…

Feel free to add me as well. We all need support and motivation :) I'm active on here and I try to support all of my friends, but have been a little sporadic as of late as my classes just started again and I'm trying to juggle everything (school/work/children... you know lol). I'm also trying to keep myself accountable so…

Wow!! I need to add Maui to my bucket list! And don't be so foolish, when I saw the picture that you described as you having a "gut" in, I thought you looked amazing!! From what I can see, your stomach muscles are contracted from the way you're sat on the tree... and they look good!! A stomach to envy :)

I've tried several brands and flavours, but my favourite is Pure Protein - Chocolate Peanut Butter. I too have a massive sweet tooth, and this bar actually makes me feel a little guilty about eatting it! It tastes great :) It has 20g of protein, 16g carbs and is about 200 calories.

WOW! I know this is said alot, but... you don't even look like the same person anymore!! Thanks for sharing your pictures with us :)

I'm curious about Body Fortress now too!! And yes!! I got the spam from lightningcrashes1981...

My favourite so far is Rivalus Promasil in Soft Serve Vanilla. I buy it at GNC. It has 0 carbs, 90 calories for 20g protein (per 25g serving), and dissolves really well. Plus... it tastes great! I usually blend it with frozen fruit and almond milk and make a smoothie :)

Bump! Two of my favourite things! :)

I'm 5'3" too!! I started MFP at 217lbs, I'm currently at 161.5lbs and my goal is 135lbs. Once I get closer I wil re-evaluate that as right now I'm focusing more on body fat % and becoming lean. I do think that 105lbs would be wayyyyy too small for me, but to each their own and if you're healthy and happy at that weight,…

I've been contemplating doing a round of P90X, this would be a great way to stay motivated lol!!
-
Makes sense lol! Thanks :)

Wow!! You not only lost the weight, but you sculpted your body and now have a physique to die for!! You are truly very inspirational (and I hope to follow in your footsteps  ). Thank you for sharing your story and showing us that it CAN be done!

You look fantastic!! Wow!! I hope to one day get to where you are. Great work :))
-
That's a great transformation!! You look soooooooooooo much younger too  We have similar goals. I've lost 55.5lbs so far, and still want to drop at least another 26.5lbs! We both can do it :)

Woohoo!! Mine is Sept 29th too :) So that's three so far.
-
So close! Mine is Sept 29th... I haven't seen anyone else with that date yet :(
-
Bump! I have to make these for my family :)

I'm wondering.... mine ended up pretty tacky and I was unable to "roll" the mixture, so I just laid it out on a plate in the shape of a ball and stuck it in the freezer. Is this right?
-
Hmmmm.... I apologize if this is seems incoherent, I was trying to entertain my kids, cook supper and type my "tips" lol. First let me say, there are no "secrets". The only thing that works is hard work and dedication to yourself. So, remembering that everyone is different, and what works for one may not work for the…

Yes ma'am, that would be along the same lines. Though, unless you shop at a Newfie Store, you can't find Salt Beef anywhere else. We're one of a kind lol. Speaking of pork, another big thing is scrunchions, which if I remember correctly (I've never used it) is pure hard fat from pork, we then fry it (in butter or more fat…

I am from Newfoundland, Canada. I would say that my downfall was Salt Beef. Yup, Beef, cured in Salt. I think one 100g piece is something like 3600mg of salt. It's mostly cooked with white potatoes, and some other veggies and stuff ("puddings" but not like any creamy Jello kind or anything lol) and referred to as "Jiggs…

Good morning everyone :) So I'm down 1lb as of this morning... 29lbs to go!! I better kick my butt into gear!

I definitely have to try this! I'm going to experiment with this and try protein powder and maybe crunchy peanut butter... and whatever else I have haha. Thanks for sharing :)

I love this idea; I have found other members pretty darn similar to me through a previous thread like this. It's always great to have friends with the same type of goals :) Age: 29 years young Height: 5' 3 1/8" SW: 217lbs CW: 161.5lbs GW 135lbs - but have switched my focus to body recomp and I am currently aiming for 22%…
