  • Whoo! down 0.2lbs in two weeks! LOL! But now I only have 8lbs to get to my goal! I CAN do this!
  • How is everyone doing? I've got 9lbs to get to my goal and I ALWAYS struggle at this point. I've plateau'd for 2 weeks now and I'm worried that this is where I'm going to sit :(
  • Do something with your hands so you won't be tempted to eat. I do cross stitch or knit...It has hugely helped with my evening snacking!
  • This is my Favorite movie EVER! Reading all the quotes has made my day. I must watch this movie tonight, I hope it's on netflix! Thank you for this post!
  • You are looking Great! Thanks for posting!
  • Love this!
  • Generally I don't exercise with a buddy unless it is a group class, then it doesn't matter. I don't like feeling like I'm slowing people down and I want to work hard so don't want to be slowed down. I have one friend who is about the same speed as me and we have run together in a race, she pushed me...and then she had to…
  • I have struggled with this in the past as well. We just don't keep that crap in the house anymore. Once and a while we'll get snacky stuff but we'll get popchips instead of doritos etc. I've tried the breaking things into snack size pieces, sticking things in the freezer (girl guide Mint cookies taste better from the…
  • That's fantastic! Remember this feeling and keep going! I've been running for 5 months now and It's so nice to get to those points where you feel "Yay I did it!". It only gets better from here!
  • Wow! You've really done your homework there! I'm VERY impressed! I have no idea if this is right or what you could add. I've never heard of the 100 mile diet before.

  • Feel free to add me. I've been on here since February and have lost close to 25lbs. I have 10lbs to go and am training (I think) for a Tri Sprint next year (my first!).

  • I ride 13km on a bike path (that crosses roads) and then another 9km on the roads, this is my commute and I NEVER wear headphones while cycling. It is far too dangerous. I also never wear headphones while running early in the morning although I will wear them on the weekend if I go for a run around the lake later on (say…
  • Get leaner burgers and wrap them in lettuce rather than having a bun. you could make a foil dinner by chopping up veggies and some lean meat and a wee bit of oil and wrapping it all in foil. Put it on the fire (or the grill above the fire if there is one...or bbq if you're doing that instead) till it's ready and you have a…

  • Hi! I'm 5'6 and started at 173lbs just after Christmas just gone. I'm now at 152 and looking to get to 140. Always looking for like minded friends! Feel free to add me :) (I'm also 35 and I have one son who will be 4 in September)
  • Yeah, I want to know as well as I've just seen the groupon as well!
  • biking all the time, playing games like tag and mr. wolf, we had a pool till I was 10 so there was always swimming, Jumping rope, swinging till we were even with the bar for hours on end. In the winter we would go tobogganning and skating and build snowmen and forts, heck just walking to school in the white stuff!
  • False! I am so bad I'm sure my 3 yr old son is better than me at bball! TNP dyes their hair!
  • I never go to the gym. I do the following though. I run twice a week and I try to bike home or to work at least once assuming my personal schedule and appointments don't get in the way (like today :frown: ) and the other days except for one which is my rest day I try and do 30DS or some sort of other exercise I can fit in…
  • Feel free to add me. I have a 3yr old as well, he'll be 4 in September and we're trying for a second, god willing. Losing weight is hard when you have kids for sure. I'm always finishing up Z's food or licking his icecream cone to catch the drips. *sigh* This is my second time losing weight since I had Z first time took me…
  • I agree with currently tracking the food. When he does get seriously bloated, record it in the food notes...then look for a pattern.
  • I'm in. I did 238km in May and I want to keep that level of fitness up. I will be mainly biking and running. 160km == 100miles right? Just checking my math! JUNE 1 - 26km cycling (commute) JUNE 2 - JUNE 3 - JUNE 4 - JUNE 5 - JUNE 6 - JUNE 7 - JUNE 8 - JUNE 9 - JUNE 10 - Total - 26km (I'll convert it later...)
  • I'm IN! For me I'm just going to say no Snacking after dinner. We usually eat around 6:30 - 7:00 but sometimes it's later. I should be in bed by 10:00 but NEVER later than 11:00. This is going to be a hard one as my husband is a snacker...hopefully I will be a good influence on him!
  • Mine is open to my MFP friends...it helps keep me accountable. Especially because I work with one of my friends who is also on MFP and we really help encourage each other. As for the whole world...yeah, I'm not interested in EVERYBODY knowing what I eat...
  • The first time through I used 2lb weights, second time through used 3lb weights. In between first and second times I would use 2 or 3 depending on the exercise. Some of them I could use a heavier weight I'm sure...but not for some of the Level 2 exercises...those KILL my arms!
