i love my polar ft4. comfortable, lightweight and easy to use. have had it since october and never work out without it. compared a lot of model and found that while this one didn't offer as much as some of the other ones, it had exactly what i was looking for. good luck!

cleaning the house, no. mowing the law, yes. my rule is that if i do something around the house, and should shower afterwards b/c of sweating so much, i count it. on my feed i see all types of stuff that people count...cleaning, food prep, stuff like that. to each his/her own, i guess. for me, if i should shower after, it…

burned 1075 during a 90 minute hot yoga session. burned 497 during a 50 minute lift. great job everyone!

i'm in. got a hot yoga session planned in the morning, then hoping for a gym session later in the day with some lifting and a possible cardio session. that should put me at around 1600 calories burned, if all goes well. good luck everyone. push yourself!

i don't want to know...a lot, but not as much as i would have spent on doctors bills, co pays, insurance premiums, physical therapy, emotional therapy, hospital bills, medications, rehab equipment, and a likely divorce if my health and state of mind didn't improve.

i increased my water intake. i stopped having a second plate at dinner. i fit whatever i wanted or could on my plate the first time, without making mountains of food on top of each other, and ate all or some of it, but never had seconds. replace chips and stuff with vegetables and fruits. stopped drinking as much alcohol.

opening your food diary will allow people to be able to give specific advice. other wise, it will be the standard, eat less, exercise more type stuff.

go to an orthopedist. do not buy a brace without knowing what is wrong. different braces support different parts of the knee and you can do more harm than good. no one here, over the internet, can tell you what is wrong with your knee. that is why doctor's have offices. good luck.

dusted my bike off yesterday. went out with my son for about 45 minutes, then took him back home and went out for about 30 minutes on my own. loved it. didn't realize i missed it so much during the winter. good luck with the new wheels!
