wireless headphones. SO convenient, especially to a lifter to not have the wire in the way. gift card to where ever he buys his supplements. nothing like free supplements! gloves/straps, although he will likely want to pick out his own. what about a subscription to a fitness magazine? good luck!

thanks for everyone's support. while i enjoyed the class, my calves are not too happy about it today. but since i didn't plan on taking the class, i worked calves beforehand. and i haven't stood and rode a bike in like 15 years, even tho i ride, just sitting down all the time, so i guess that is why my calves are yelling.…

stop running immediately. see an orthopedic doctor, not your gp, and dont leave until he/she prescribes an mri. xrays will show very little of your knee, especially if is deep knee issues. if your doc clears you for running, you are putting in too many miles too quickly. dial it back some.

not sure about everyone doing chest on mondays, although based on this past weeks workouts, monday would be chest day for me. i usually make mondays a cardio day simply b/c the gym is most crowded on monday, so let the wanna bees use the weights, i'll stick to the cardio and lift the rest of the week when it isn't so…

great job! i had to have my ring resized too. i really did not want too, b/c it was a nice reminder of how far i've come. but i would've lost it. it was also a nice reminder that now i don't ever plan on being that size again!

it's helping his health more than 12 minutes of sitting on the couch. when he is ready to walk further, he will. if he never does, he is still walking over an hour a week more than he used to.
