  • make sure you are hydrated and focus on something that isn't a moving part. i can get headaches if i focus on the wheels of my bike, or the moving parts of my elliptical...stuff like that. focus on a stationary object. good luck.

  • i have two weird ones...a snickers bar (which i usually don't even eat. i would list other candy bars far ahead of snickers as my favorite) and mcdonalds chicken mcnuggets for some reason.

  • work your upper body to keep some of the strength up there. also, you can do leg lifts and heal pumps. those will help keep the muscles in your legs working hard. not a terrible amount you can do, but these little things will make a big difference when you eventually get back to the gym. good luck.
