  • Yes, it was working just fine until 2 days ago. I've had the vivofit for most of 2015 (possibly earlier), but this hadn't happened until now. My software is up to date with version 4.2 on my laptop. I'm blaming the ANT stick. Yes, the App Store reviews trashed the mobile App, and each complaint rings true for me as well.…
  • Yes, thanks, MeanderingMammal. The software is up to date. So I'm forced to agree with everyone who reviewed the app in the Appstore that it's just a poorly designed product. Shadow2Soul, I am intrigued by the Fitbit Surge. Very pricy, but very much what I'm looking for. Editorgrrl, I don't know if there are devices that…
  • The phone app doesn't work at all, so I'm not even talking about that. Vivofit (not Vivosmart) has an ANT stick that plugs into the USB port. Garminconnect.com says it's not connected. So I have zero way of transmitting data on the device onto anything--my phone or my laptop.

So I have eliminated wheat, have not swapped it for gluten-free foods because those have other carbs that cause serious spikes in blood sugar, and limit the non-wheat carbs drastically. I can't give up…
  • I'm very late joining this group. But I did 100 squats today at the gym and realized I should do the challenge. Am I too late? About me: I'm 43 and struggling with my last 7-12 lb. They love me too much. I'm a teacher on summer vacation, which means lots and lots of time at the gym. I wish I could keep up the intensity…
  • I just got a fitbit and am tryiing to figure out why the fitbit says I have walked more steps than what is syncing on line. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy about having something that really tracks everything. One question, though: I guess you shouldn't enter walking as a separate exercise because the pedometer already counts…
  • I just started using my fitbit yesterday and am really excited about how it keeps me constantly conscious of calories in and out. Question: Since it functions as a pedometer anyhow, should I not bother logging in a 3-mile walk when I do that as one of the workouts for the day? Or should I log that in because I need to keep…
