I've lost 23 pounds since April. It's slow going, but I feel like I'm doing it in a way that I will be able to maintain and I can also go out and have some fun without completely falling off the wagon.

I agree that she needs to have her 'aha' moment and ultimately that needs to come from her, but it might help both her and you if you wrote her a letter with some of the things that you posted here. It is still going well but you are correct, the weight loss has slowed down. I'm still not craving anything. It's pretty amazing. I have some concerns with Thanksgiving coming up in two days though. :X
