  • I've just started seeing a trainer and he just wears t shirts and basketball shorts. If I had a woman trainer I think seeing her in teeny tiny clothes would both motivate and depress me at the same time, but that's probably just me. I don't see anything wrong with capris or decent length shorts (no need for anyone to have…
  • I agree with the crazy calorie counts but what gets me even more is the sodium! Really how do they make a salad have over 1000mg of sodium?! It's freaking lettuce. I'm starting to think the only seasoning restaurants know about is salt.
  • Jog slower or repeat the week? I just finished that week and I had to jog the last 5 minutes really slow. I start week 5 tomorrow but I'm already thinking I might have to repeat it because it's all 5, 8, or 20 mins runs. I can hardly do the 5 mins at a time, I don't know how i'll manage 20 mins on day 3.
  • Glad you had a good time! Sitting around thinking about what happened doesn't change anything so there was no point in that. Also glad you're not going for the "replacement" girl. And sorry to hear you got dumped. That sucks all around but it does make room for new people and experiences in your life
  • Thank you. So what if you're like me and need to lose tons of weight and want to start do strength training? I've started reading NROLFW but I admit I haven't gotten very far in it yet due to spending too much time reading the forum on MFP, school, kids, and life in general  And I'm supposed to meet with a personal…
  • Personally I don't care what people log or don't log as it doesn't affect me or my weight loss. I don't see why people get so pissy about it. If you don't like it, let your "friends" know you don't agree with them and then delete them. End of problem and this useless panty-twisting debate. And if you walk for exercise -…
  • I don't know where you are but we have a place called Fleet Feet here and they have you walk and I guess jog on some little computer type thing. I know some people who have gone there and they have recommended it to me. But it's also expensive which is why I will be waiting for a while. Some sports stores might be better…
  • I am starting week 5 Tuesday. I do a lot of stretching before and after and sometimes I take ibuprofen for I head out to the track. Maybe it's a mind thing for me but it seems to help. When I'm actually jogging and feel like I'm going to kill over I jog slower. Even if that means I'm only jogging as little faster than I…
  • I eat the Pop Weaver brand if you can find that. It actually has the nutrition information for the whole bag on there. Or you could switch to the smaller single serve bags to make it easier. My youngest son and I were talking about it this morning. Why do they even put the nutrition info for the unpopped kernels on there?…
  • I do my jogging outside on a track at a local school. There's a really nice neighborhood right next to the track. When I start getting tired or feel like I want to give up I just start saying "I can do this" over and over. And the more I want to quit the louder I get. Yesterday I was shouting. I'm sure all the people out…
  • I've never heard of this stuff but I just looked it up and they sell it in some stores close to where I live. I'm going to pick some up next time I go grocery shopping! Thanks
  • bumping to ready all the great ideas later :)
  • These recipes sound yummy!!
  • Thank you, exactly what I meant. Guns aren't for everyone. Some people just don't like them, others don't want the responsibility of one. If you're not willing to put in the time to learn to safely use a gun (any type) you shouldn't have one. And I'm also against stupidity in general. I think most people should be required…
  • When my oldest son was around 2 we were in a grocery store parking lot and he saw a red truck and said it was his daddy's truck. I told him it wasn't and he yelled at the top of his lungs in front of a large group of people walking into the store that I didn't even know who his daddy was. All I could tell the people…
  • Pro Gun Anti Stupid (Some days it's really hard to get through all the stupid I'm surrounded with  )
  • Looks tasty. Thank you for the recipe.
  • Really, any logical person will know there's no other choice
  • Oh lord I was going to say Boyfriend too! I don't like Bieber but I love that song for some reason  I know there are others but that's the one I just heard in the car so it's the one that sticks out the most OK, I just read through a few of the post here and I know (and LOVE) so many of these songs...I now have so…
  • I can't help but laugh when I'm lecturing my kids about something I find serious and they make a smartass comment or crack a joke. I always have to turn away or do my "hahaha that's real funny" laugh for them but the whole time I'm thinking, "that's hilarious" Yes, I'm a slacker parent, I know this but at the same time I…
  • Gluten free, sugar free and tasty?! Can't wait to try them thanks
  • I also say go with the dry shampoos, if you hold the can kind of away from your hair and brush it in when you're done or rub it it won't make you look gray or like you have powder in your hair. And it smells good! I've used suave and it works good, I have black hair (In the process of going blonde though :) ) Also there is…
  • I don't have either but I went to books a million and they had the original and new rules of lifting for life (I think that was the name of it) I wasn't sure what to get so I figured I'd order the NROLFW from amazon. Plus I think it was cheaper but can't really remember now. If there's no difference though I might just go…
  • The Bat mobile!! Also a Delorean, a transporter, a genie lamp, an invisibility cloak, a time traveling phone booth, the jetson's apartment :) So much more but I can't even think...the possibilities are mind boggling!!
  • I did it. I didn't have the drastic results some people here post (I'm sooo jealous of that btw) but it does work. I lost inches and a couple pounds. And it's nice because you can do it at home so I had no excuses for not working out. And it wasn't that long from what I can remember. I felt like a badass when I finished…
  • How you doin'?
  • I do have standards, just seems every guy I date I lower the bar  However, because I am a single parent, I don't sleep around so even as low as my standards have gotten I'd rather just "sleep" alone And on a side note, I'm starting to realize that having standards isn't a bad thing and I should expect men to meet…
  • I agree with getting it looked at ASAP. Maybe it is fine, but it would be better to check and know that than to wait around through the weekend and be worse off. And if your doctor doesn't like you having someone else check it I'd suggest finding a new doctor, but that's just me. I hope you start feeling better soon!
  • If you're going to associate the apartment with him it might be best to break the lease and get out or if it's close to the end of the lease just sticking it out for a while and then finding somewhere new to live. If you guys do end up breaking up then no matter where you live it's going to be tough for a while because…
  • I workout in the morning as soon as I get up and I can't handle food as soon as I get up. I was going to start eating breakfast within an hour of waking up to see if it would make a difference and I was only able to do it once. I felt so miserable the whole time I worked out I never did it again but that's just me.
