  • YAY! Way to go... not as heavy as that, but also not as fit... I'd be QUITE proud if I ran 3 minutes without walking, I'm with the girl who said she never learned to breathe properly, too. Rock it, work it, and it's one step at a time!
  • This... it's an internal feeling for me, not something I can measure, except maybe lower blood pressure? Fit and health are kind of synonymous to me personally. IF I feel good inside my body, genuinely healthy and good, I'll consider myself "fit".
  • I'm with all the "greasy people"... I wake up late enough to just do lunch, burger and fries... pizza can work, too... meat lovers pan pizza from pizza hut does WONDERS for a hangover.
  • Hahaha, couldn't agree more!
  • It's funny to see the women posts, too! A LOT of women on the other post said they wanted smaller, too... It's SO interesting to me how different people are and what they want, lol... VERY educational.
  • VERY valid point... if you're NOT distracted, it's not being done right...
  • Hahaha you guys are cracking me up, making me feel better though. I know they're just boobs, but my boyfriend LOVES my boobs... he even "talks" them sometimes; he looks down my shirt at random, just to make sure they're safely in place? (I don't know, I'm not a guy)... I know he won't REALLY care, but the responses are…
  • Oh I know... I just find it intersting. The women's responses were awesome when I was just venting in my post yesterday. A few guys responded, too... but feel perspectives on bodies are interesting.
  • You seem to think VERY highly of boobs, haha
  • I had always been a B, and slowly went up to a FULL C... now I think they're the first going. I've had to lose about 20-25 lbs total, but I'm going to miss these girls!
  • Jealous, I know mine still look okay smaller, but I think I'm going to miss them.

  • That's SO awesome! My blood pressure going up was a reason I started taking this seriously. I bought a blood pressure cuff and it's been regularly lower. It's still pre-hypertension at times, or on the higher end of normal, BUT I feel like I'm doing better!
  • Mine have always been fairly small., at my most common weight, they've been a B... As I've gained weight I was "finally" a FULL C... The first time I bought a C I was thinking "wow"! Now I'm losing, and I can tell my boobs are losing their plumpness, ahhh, it was fun while it lasted, but I miss the rest of my body not…

  • SMILE, hands, and shoulders... I once dated a man with too soft of hands, felt like a girl's, couldn't do it... and there's NOTHING like walking up behind a shirtless guy cooking or grilling and kissing his shoulders...mmmm... wait, what are we talking about again? :blushing: Oh yeah...on me, hips/curve above at waist...…
  • My take: From a woman who just a few years ago complained, "I just want a MAN"...The term masculinity is completely subjective. Gender "roles" came to be because of common gender inclanations, but don't fit the mold for everyone. It's hard to say what, if anything, is lacking when the term is SOOO subjective. A…
  • This is a good point. A lot of people DO gain weight when feeling down or stressed (those have been the times that I do)... approaching it like this is COMPLETELY different. Shows a different kind of concern, rather than concern about the way she looks.
  • I have other health issues that make weight a struggle... I will FOREVER need to be with someone who I KNOW will love me shall I gain some weight... No one needed to tell me when the scale was getting up there. I agree with everyone who says "SHE KNOWS"... there'd be NO way to word that wouldn't have a very negative effect…
  • And here I thought I didn't exercise today... SWEET!... I mean, ummm... that's great for people who do that kinda thing :blushing:
  • Good job! If it struck you the wrong way, that's a good thing. Everyone's right, even if he was joking (and we don't know that he was), it's NOT a joke in today's world. As a middle school teacher, I try to teach my students this when they jokingly say things like that thinking they're being funny. A lot of people have…
  • Good to know it's about that... Those could add up! Those who said they'll wear a heart monitor next time they are "intimate", keep us posted! It's GOT to be more than that... I think I burn that in the pre-foreplay alone. :smooched:
  • I feel like Janice on "Friends"... OH MY GOSH! hahaha, hey that's the same calories as my spinach.
  • If it's more the texture than the flavor, why not try blending them together. Someone said sauces, you can also do smoothies. I mix together banana, spinach, strawberries, blueberries, and a peach for a breakfast or snack...thinking about adding carrots... with ice (no protein powders or anything like that). I get all my…
  • I just spent a good ten minutes or so reading about what all of you guys are doing... Oh, and having a glass of wine.
  • I've had a lot of people say that doctors aren't huge fans of that, but it HAS made them feel better... mine is a numbers person (which I've slowly found out) so I don't know if he would go for it.. hmmm...
  • I am on cytomel, too. I feel better than when I wasn't on this as well. I ASKED for it, to give it a try. I do not have a thyroid at all, so I'm one of those that rely on the med combination completely. Good luck! Remember it DOES take a little while to see how you'll really feel with it. My dr. started me on a low dose…

  • It CAN take up to six weeks to see if a dose of meds is working well for you or not. My biggest issues have been at dose changes. Tdcallahan is also correct in saying you should ask about Vitamin D, B12, Calcium levels. I'm in a thyroid cancer support group (none of us have thyroids at all), and those are first line of…
  • I "phone a friend" when I leave work around my highest hunger time. I talk until I pass all the fast food places, and until I'm close enough to home that I know I can "get there" without the temptation. :) I can actually now do it without the phone call most days! Because of this: Plan on having a high protein snack when…
  • Grilled chicken sandwiches. I also LOVE unsweet tea, so at Starbucks I'll get an unsweet GREEN tea, at fast food, an unsweet tea instead of soda (not a HUGE soda person anyway.
