Floyd is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mixed with Pomeranian (he essentially looks like a mini Spaniel). Dexter is an American Cocker Spaniel. Floyd is 6 years old and has been my companion through many many ordeals. I love him like no other (except my husband). Dexter is 3 months old and we are still bonding. He is a…

Nothing as grand as yours OP but the 5K that I broke my own personal best and set a new PR. I am now training to keep my pace and finish a 10K strong.

I was on Sprintec last year and it wrecked havoc on my moods, weight, hormones, etc etc. My doctor switched me to the lowest hormone dose of OrthoCyclen and it is amazing the difference! My weight loss is ongoing and everything is great again. I've been on it for over 6 months now and it is the best.

Sounds logical to me. Thanks!

How do you guys log this? I have a HRM that I can wear to estimate calories burned, but is that the best option?

Just bought it and am excited to get started! I am trying to lose the dreaded last 8-10 pounds (since November). I hope to make it the entire 8 weeks. I want my shirt ! ;)

I try to plan ahead. I search online for the restaurant(s) menu and see if they list nutritional information. I look over the menu and decide what I want to eat (before even going to it). If there is no calorie estimate given (or I cannot find said place online) then I break down my meal into parts that I can log. It helps…

Man I love MoonPies. I miss them so much! Good for you to try a bite first.

I am considering starting it. Thanks for the link to the review.

I am alone today and was for Thanksgiving too. And will be for NYE. My husband is deployed.

My first thought too.

I use one (but my hubs set it up for me). I would upload a picture if I could (as far as I know you have to use an image stored online), but I track my weight, waist measurements, hip measurements, body fat percentage, pants size, and BMR. I have a chart for a visual aid that updates every time I log in new numbers, and I…

I walk my dog 2x each day for 30-60 minutes each outing. I run 2-3x each week (3 mile minimum each run) I go for a hike once a week in the summer and fall. I bike 1-2x each week (for 30 minutes up to 2 hours each time, depending on time constraints) I use DVDs at home once or twice a week for variety (kickboxing or HIIT or…

Are you able to bike or swim? Those are good workouts that are very easy on the knee (check with your doc). Otherwise, don't let this get you down. Your body needs time to adjust to the changes you are installing. It is great that you had the presence of mind to stop and seek medical help before the injury became worse.…

I have the set and enjoy them. I use them for my "easy" days or when I am short on time and want to do something different. I bought them because I wanted something more like dancing and I hate Zumba. You are learning dance moves that are put together by the end of the workout. Then you do the entire "dance" with all the…

I get my high on runs that are at least 3 miles long. The high lasts longer when I am having a great running day (but still over the 3 miles). I don't listen to music when I run, so that has no bearing on me.

I can't imagine my life without you in it. Will you marry me? ETA: said by my now husband

1. How long after meeting your SO did you knew he/she was the one? about 3 months 2. How long did it take to declare it to him/her? about 4 months 3. How did you know (describe the feeling inside of you that made you realize--man, this is it)? He is in the military and received orders to move. I had this gut reaction that…

I don't see ads either. Weird.

Hubs picked it out himself (it was a set) after asking me to show him pictures of rings that I liked. It is beautiful and he did a great job!

I am a long-time sufferer of migraines and headaches. Eventually my doctor and I figured out that my trigger was a hydration issue. At first we thought it was a food trigger so I began keeping a journal/log of everything I ate (and included liquids). Long story short: I HAVE to be properly hydrated every day with water. I…

I lose my appetite after any activity. Always.
