Realizing that I am worth the hard work that it has taken.

This really has nothing to do with your diet, but I just wanted to say how lucky you are. My brother had pancreatitis a few years ago. He was in ICU for 4 months, on life support, went through multiple organs failing. He is now a insulin dependent diabetic as his pancreas no longer functions. It is a very tough life for…

One snack that I enjoy pretty often is a banana smoothie. I have a Magic Bullet which I love. I take a super ripe bananas (the darker the sweeter), peel it, chop it, then freeze it. I usually have 3-4 frozen bananas in the freezer at a time. Then when I want a "milk shake", I add one frozen banana + 1/2 cup of skim milk +…

I eat Luna Bars on work days. I can buy them 10/$10 at Kroger. They have about 180 calories per bar. Plus, I stay full until lunch time.

It took me almost 40 pounds before people really started approaching me and asking me. Some said they had noticed earlier but didn't really bring it up until then. My family that knew I was trying to lose weight would comment way before, but I think part of that was just to encourage me

I am 5'5 and started at 226lbs. It took me about 15lbs to start noticing a slight difference in the way my clothes fit. It took me about 45lbs before people really started commenting on my weight loss.

I love almond milk as well! I use it mostly for cereal. It does have a sweet taste to it.

I love Luna bars for breakfast. I don't have much time to cook or prepare foods in the morning. They are high in vitamins and protein plus they keep me full until lunch.

Tomorrow is my one year anniversary since I quit smoking. I have gained 30 pounds in the last year. I think if I would have know about MFP, it really would have helped. I think I ate more because I was bored. I had all of this extra time and didn't know what to do with myself. I will be honest, the first two months are the…

I have been going through the same thing with my seven year old, her whole life. Even as a baby, she was picky with jar foods, spitting them out and refusing to eat them. I completely understand what you are going through. It is so frustrating. I talked to pediatricians about it and no one really seemed to take it…
