I think I'm going to have to bow out of the this challenge for this month. After being unemployed for 3 months, I started a new job on August 8th and the last 2 weeks have absolutely flown by. Once I get into the groove at work, I know I'll be back to Leslie land. I'll try again in September, see ya'll then! :)

I would love to join! I actually just finished Week 1 Day 1 tonight! I've never been one for running (well, jogging), but there's something calming and wonderful about it now that I can actually do it.

I know EXACTLY how you feel and I am living proof that it CAN be done! To date I have lost 118 lbs and have another 55-70 lbs to go. I don't know exactly where I want to stop, I just want to be in shape and healthy! Also, I agree with JeanWalker109 - try not to look at the overall goal, just start out with small mini…

bump...I need a visual reminder like this in my life.

I've always had small hands, and feet, and even at my largest weight I was wearing a size 7 ring. Because of that, I didn't realize my hands were chubby because my rings were still smaller than alot of other women I knew. Suffice to say I was pretty surprised when I'd lost about 75 lbs and my wedding rings started flying…

#8 on the fattest city list. sigh.

I have lost every single pound at home (can't afford a gym membership). I have started (and never completed) Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred several times (the first time was at my largest - LOL, no idea what I was thinking...)...I am embarking on the brave to journey to FINISH it this time and today will be day #2 (already…

OK, I survived Day 1 of Level 1! It's been at least 6 months since the last time I did this workout and I was pretty impressed at myself because I was able to do the ENTIRE thing and keep up with ALL the cardio, except for like 2 seconds during the jumping jack/jump rope part. All my Leslie Sansone & Zumba the last few…

I've actually been in a funk the last two days but I pulling myself right back out of it today! About to do Day 1 now! Maybe I'll throw in an extra session later to make up for some. :)

hmmm, I have been debating on doing this for awhile, and like somebody above me said, having accountability partners may just be the motivation I need! It was actually the very first workout I did when I was at my largest (I apparently had a death wish, lol) so it *should* be much easier to get through now, minus the knee…

I'm 5'4, I'll be 29 on Saturday, and I started this quest 2.5 years ago at 330.8 lbs. Currently, I'm 215.6 and would love to lose another 60-70 lbs or so

I've just recently gotten back into the swing of regular workouts (for the last month and a half, I'd slacked off to just walking during lunch at work in fear that I'd get too small for my bridesmaid dress after it was tailored. wedding was 4/30/11 & I've hit the ground running - literally) and this week I found out I'm in…

uh, alot :embarassed:  pretty much everytime I go to the bathroom (which is a lot with all that water I'm drinking!!). It's just so unbelievable to me sometimes - I was at my biggest for nearly 9 years!

I started my journey the Monday following the first wedding, which was October 20, 2008. I was wearing size 28 and 3-4X, depending on the article of clothing. I started off just focusing on my food habits and lost 25 lbs without exercise. Once I plateaued out, I knew I had to start sweating and began exercising 1-3 days a…

It takes patience, dedication, and baby steps. I started in Oct 08 (well, actually it was more like Jan 09, after the holidays) by only changing my diet. I took the time to focus on making better choices and learning how to measure food. I cut out soda, alcohol (I still enjoy alcohol about twice a month, but I used to…

I wish I could follow this thread while the show is on, but we don't have a tv near the computer! I'll check back later (so this is my *bump*)
