  • I wouldn't know if it helps or not (I haven't been dieting long enough) but I think it would be a nice treat, and I don't think it would hurt anything. (within reason) I keep meaning to have one, then screwing up and eating under my calorie limit. I don't even know how that happens, but I guess it's for the best.
  • And then they made me their king.
  • I suggest finding veggies you like, logging them for a little bit (just so you know how many calories are in your portions) then stop logging them. Always log fruit. There's sugar in fruit, and I've noticed that a serving of fruit is around 110 calories, give or take. It adds up fast. I (usually) try to log everything. I…
  • I usually eat my oatmeal with some sugar (3 tbsp) and cinnamon. I really only use the cinnamon to stop me adding more sugar. If we have bananas, I slice one up and put it on top. (sans sugar or cinnamon) I haven't done much else with it I'm afraid.
  • Because you can bring your macbook and pretend to be creative while really just surfing youtube. I mean... because coffee has less calories and more expensive equals classier? ... ... ... ...It just is.
  • I'm thinking Arby's. Sorry... I had to...
  • ^ Nope. < I like cats. v What, in your opinion, is the most attractive Asian language? (in its written form)
  • I like the white one best. The polka-dot one would probably be okay in terms of color, but you really don't look like a polka-dot type of girl, OP.
  • I think anyone can wear a bikini, they just need to feel comfortable doing so. "Big boned" is not a thing, unless you're tall. Then you need those big bones. Some people have a tendency to put on weight faster and have a harder time losing it, OR carry their weight a bit differently. However, even if you're one of those…
  • Not sure what to tell you, OP. However, I do agree with everyone who said you might want to seek help for depression. That's up to you, if it seems like it would help. You said something about your body reacting poorly to junk food. Is that in any amount, or just if you binge on it? I don't know how much you're eating, but…
  • I try not to. Sometimes my guesstimations turn out wrong though. I use the journal to figure how much I can eat that day, so lying to it would defeat the purpose. If I do lie, it's by adding today's calories to yesterday because my sleep schedule is weird and I don't always eat back all of my calories before midnight.…
  • Aww...I wish my legs looked like Chun Li's...:ohwell: I just measured my calves. They're 16'' around. I wish I could say it was muscle, but it doesn't feel like it is.
  • age: 22? height: 5'3" SW:178 CW: 175 GW: 120 I don't think I've been under 140 since puberty, so we'll see how this goes. GW was inspired by Brighter-Than-Jewels-Tiffany (Who I know weighs less than that), and skinny people I know irl.
  • I am a person who did art things once. One of the pictures is here in a new thing I made: http://athingforstuff.blogspot.com/
  • The mfp forum, The Hunger Games (Once I get around to it) That other book everybody's reading (once I get around to it (this is true always, it doesn't matter what the book is)), and War and Peace. I'm in the middle of the last one, or close to the middle. It makes me feel like I didn't pay enough attention in history…
  • You mean the yoga pose, right? I can do it, but I'm not sure what to tell you. Try walking yourself down a wall with your hands. You should be able to get into position that way. Otherwise idk. I don't know if I come up high enough, myself.
  • I think you're letting this get to you too much. That other girl's thighs touch at her starting weight. Yours don't. You've got a hip to waist ratio I'd kill for. Don't worry. Keep up the hard work. You look good know, and you'll look great then.
  • Also this^ I look really gross when I'm not wearing clothes, and my workouts can be bit on the ancient Greek side.
  • Dressing up to go to the gym does seem a tad silly in my opinion, but I don't give a damn SO LONG as I am not the one expected to do that. I am a fan of the "just woke up look", at least on me. It's not attractive, but it amuses me to see how pissed off I look. Also, I like just rolling out of bed and going out. So long as…
  • I normally don't get hangry, but people hiding food from me under the guise of "trying to help" or suggesting that I do exercises that I hate, or claiming that I "don't do anything", or am "letting myself go" or asking questions about how much weight I've lost, or generally mentioning or trying to assist in my diet in…
  • It looks like you just started your diet, so my guess is that that's why you've lost 3 pounds already. I wouldn't know whether or not that's normal, though.
  • Lol no. Swimming tones all over if you do enough of it and/or do the intensive strokes. I used to swim a lot, (ages ago) and regularly got asked if I worked out, because the muscle showed.
  • There are tons of upsides to being fat though! All of them are related to eating, but whatev... Ahem. People are mean. Slim people are the weight loss 1%. In the movies and on TV and media in general, the slim are the norm. The curvier people are Hollywood's version of fat, even though in real life they would be normal…
  • I think it's an unspoken rule in their line of work. I've seen muscular curvy women in real life, but I've never seen them modeling. I think people expect well muscled people to look a certain way, and that the curvy muscular girls don't fit the mold. They're almost always thicker too, so maybe they aren't perceived as…
  • I really want one of those right now... but it's 2:30am...but I'll be up... but... Ahem. I don't think the timing matters unless you're going straight to bed. Calories matter though.
  • I'm actually pretty worried about "shark week." I don't have a gym membership, and due to...erm... anatomical difficulties, I can't do my regular floor workouts during that time. It all gets reeeeaaallyy dicey. The bloat doesn't actually bug me. I use it as an excuse to weigh more! :P I try not to ignore the cravings,…
  • You seem like a cool guy. Now, point by point. >But it's her body and her life. It is indeed. >I understand how the fact that she has children makes this a selfish decision on her part, but aren't most of us here because we've made similar selfish decisions? Yep. Only it's "different" because we felt guilty about it, as…
  • 60 pounds... *_* You're an inspiration, and I mean that.
  • I don't hate water, but I'm curious about why you do. Is it the taste? Is it the lack of taste? Do you not trust the clearness of it? I am really very curious. I get not liking it, but hating it? It seems like a very extreme emotion to associate with a *mostly* harmless liquid.
  • I want to lose a human leg (not literally, I like both of mine). I have actually only lost a rack of baby back ribs. :p
