I'm not on the official diet, but I love the South Beach meal bars. They don't taste chalky like most protein bars and plus I get my chocolate fix without feeling guilty. :)

The app for my phone always yells at me if I don't eat my minimum calorie goal, because you put yourself at risk of putting your body in starvation mode where it will hold onto everything because it knows there's not enough energy coming.

I live off of Atkins shakes and South Beach meal bars. Both are high in protein and fiber and low on calories and sugar. Other high protein foods taste too chalky to me. Plus I can get my taste of chocolate in both meals and not feel guilty.
