I have always wanted to try a spin but never got round to putting my name down for the class and just kept using the gym, however after reading this thread I will have to give it a go soon.

I find I get the nauseous feeling if I don't give myself enough time before eating and training.

Squats are killer for the first few sessions but you will get past it eventually. I could hardly move after I first introduced squats into my routine but now I only suffer with muscle soreness when I increase the weight. Just keep plugging away at them and I can assure you it will improve.

I use a digital scales in the house for most of my weigh ins but in the gym I go to they have a mechanical column scales which I will use once a month just to check the accuracy and to make sure my gym profile is updated.

The machines in the gym know all my stats due to the dongle we use to plug into the machines and also it will take into consideration the incline and resistance so should in theory give a more accurate result. I choose to follow the one which gives…

I echo that thought, If I was to do it all at home I honestly believe I would rarely do anything because of other distractions. I find going to the gym gets me in the right frame of mind for a workout and the process of having to go to the gym gives me that extra motivation. The other aspect of it for me is that as I am…

I have the book and while I haven't read too much into it at present the bits I did got me wondering how much of it is available free on the internet. That is the impression I got from the bits I have read but like I said I haven't put too much time into so could be a lot better than I am making out. I plan to use the book…
