I realize the treadmill is most likely off when it tells me how many calories I burn, but I log it anyways. I don't log my strength training calories burned.

I've been told it's "obsessive"...

I graduate in a week and made it through college with a completely acceptable social life without drinking!

I used to have the same thing happen to me in the mornings when I worked out. I started drinking more later in the days before a workout and drink a cup of water before a morning workout and haven't had a problem since. It would get so bad that I could barely make it back to my car and would just sit there in the parking…

I'll get my heels out tomorrow and try this :p

I prefer working out in the morning because it get's me going for the day. People ask how I'm so happy at 8 and 9 in the morning. It's because I was up at 5 or 6 working out!

Me and a friend were just talking about trying to hike some of the Appalachian trail this summer. Never hiked or anything like that lol.

You should eat the exercise calories back. If you do not have an accurate way to measure the calories you burn (such as a heart rate monitor) then you should eat a portion of them back. You should always NET 1200 calories.

There is nothing wrong with lifting weights. But if you are still not sure about it he can always do body weights. Try to get him to build up to 100 pushups and he will feel like a boss. I wasn't refuting the fact that it was true. I am looking at this from a proportion standpoint. I'm not saying caffeine dehydrates you, or that you don't get water from coffee, tea, milk, coke, etc etc. I'm just stating that I don't see how 8 ounces of water can hydrate/rehydrate as much as a diet coke. And I didn't see…

I read the thread. I've just never heard of drinking 8 ounces of diet coke rehydrates you as much as drinking 8 ounces of water. That's all. lol
-
I use Super Advanced Whey Protein as well.
-
So, drinking a diet coke will rehydrate me the same amount as water? Doubtful

You can do it but it may be hard on your body. Injuries can be detrimental. Especially at an early stage of a life change :)

If you haven't exercised in a long time a good place to start would be on low impact cardio exercises. If you have access to a gym then use the bike or the elliptical or walk on the treadmill. If you don't then walking outside works just as good. Increase your distance/speed every time you do it and build up to a jog :)…

Buy it and play with me! I've been playing it about 2 weeks now and I love it.

Thanks for the clarification :). 124/80 isn't that bad in reality. If you continue to lose weight, eat right, and get regular exercise you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Well, from what it sounds like you had been walking across campus and that will raise your blood pressure. Also, while in a doctors office people's blood pressure tends to be a little higher due to nerves.

Okay, let's just say that soy doesn't have any negative side effects. What about all of the other chemicals found in this product? And not to mention the artificial sweetener in it. And where did you get your statistics about the percentage of people not being able to eat healthy because of a busy lifestyle? I am a college…
