Run on the front pads of your feet and NOT on the back part. Running on various terrains and textures is better than the same track all the time. Its like doing various exercises for different muscles. Always drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Even cool days will make you sweat and you won't know it because it will…

And it looks like someone recently got a tat to celebrate! Congratulations on the weight loss!

This is what I felt a few months ago and I just ran my first 10k this past Sunday. Don't give up. Do a little bit more each day. Run when you can. Walk when you have to. Keep the momentum!

I strongly believe dehydration is a serious issue and I strive to get my 64 oz. (Eight 8-oz cups) but I question the necessity of 96 oz per day unless you are seriously sweating profusely and consistently in your job each day (construction, etc.) Someone asked earlier and I am still curious...did the doctor give a reason…

So is urine and feces.

Yes, you do. You've been breathing and sweating on the machine for an hour. If you don't think it makes a difference, let me go jogging and then let me go stand in your closet for an hour. I won't touch anything. I promise. (And, please, no "coming out of the closet" jokes, people.)

I usually don't say anything about it to anyone. I just keep wiping down the equipment before I use it and again when I'm done. I use a new paper towel and the spray bottles of disinfectant provided by the gym each time. Once, I had some tough guys smiling and shaking their head, telling me I shouldn't bother and some…

The more you weigh, the more energy required to move. If you calculate the burn for a 300-pound person walking 3 m.p.h. for ten minutes, it will be greater than the burn for a 200-pound person walking at the same rate for the same duration. Also, the less fat you have to burn, the higher percentage of it gets burned when…

Some people are unable to cope with loss and try to deny or ignore it. Other people are over-dramatic about a break up, complaining simply to complain, and let their true emotions show after the fact. There could be any number of reasons but people handle emotional reactions differently.

You have the time. You just need to find it. Schedule a twenty minute walk five days a week. Start with that and build up some more. I work in an office and I lost fifty pounds in four months.

This! Or you can use some of Chef Prudhomme's Seafood Magic seasoning on it with the lemon.
-
Here's your rules: 1. You don't eat it if you don't track it. 2. Don't go over your calorie or sodium limits. 3. Drink the 8 cups of water recommended each day. Do that without fail.

Get one of these and wear it when your brother comes over...

Snuffer's Bar & Grill Black Bean Burger on a Cracked Wheat Bun...if you're ever in Addison, Texas.
-
Thanks, everyone and best of luck with yours, jacole!
-
Brava! (Applause) Thanks for the birthday song! I've added 4 ounces of chardonnay to my brussel sprouts and wheat toast for lunch just for the occasion.

First, it ain't gonna happen fast. You just need to work at it every day. You're not just trying to fool your friend. You're trying to fool yourself. I hope you meet your goals but take it one step at a time and do it in good health. Chicken, fruit, veggies, water. No soda, no junk. Good luck.

Congratulations! Awesome job! The only thing bigger now is your great smile!
-
That is like "EXTREME MAKEOVER" awesome! And you didn't have a television production crew helping you! Fan-freakin'-tastic job!

That's like eating rice cakes when you can have cheesecake! Cut off the damn porn supply and he'll come looking for you.
-
Congratulations on doing it yourself! That's awesome!
-
Build up that metabolism. Eat healthy. Exercise. Keep the momentum.
-
Then you're set. No manual intervention required. Just don't track manually when you wear the fitbit.
-
Freakin' stupendous! Fabulous job! I have the same pair of Vibram Fivefingers, too! (Aren't they awesome?) Keep the momentum.
-
You don't have to track manually when you use the fitbit. If you are walking or running, use the fitbit. If you are doing aerobics or boxing and such, I would tend to use the MFP calculations, but then don't wear the fitbit when you do it.
-
Now I have that damn tune stuck in my head.

Move more so you can eat more. Take a walk, eat a turkey croissant. Take a jog, eat a cheeseburger. Run a marathon, eat a large pan meatlovers pizza.

I think mine gives me too many calories to eat but I still use it and still lose weight. I just don't always eat all my calories.
