I have been caching since April 2005. I don't think I will ever stop. We don't go as often as we would want to, due to the heat

We have our JG coins too. Gonna drop them in a cache in Lafayette next weekend I guess. Yeah, I am sure they will disappear too, but I guess we have to take our chances. Putting those caches near RR tracks can be hard....I guess it depends on the reviewer though, cause we found a cache on a walking trail DIRECTLY UNDER THE…

My goal is 175, even though my "ideal" range is lower. I want to have a little meat on my bones :)

Go to www.geocaching.com and set yourself up an account. Pick a user name that you will like. Don't worry about getting a premium membership until you are SURE you will keep caching. Some of the droid phones are great for caching, and can get you really close to ground zero. A good handheld GPS is the best bet and you can…

Our family has been caching for quite a while. All 3 of us have our our accounts and we are all paid premium members. You may not want to get one until you are SURE you are going to keep caching, but it is worth it. We can log a lot of caches that are "members only" and you can build pocket queries to download into your…

We have the Magellan eXplorist GC and we like it quite well. We also us a Magellan Meridian Gold. Not sure if they still sell those or not. A lot of cachers like the Garmins too. You can find Geocaching groups that are local to you. All states have at least one "organization". Cachers get together and have meetings and…

It is in a different state every year. Last year it was in Pennsylvania and the year before Tennessee. We went to the one in TN. It was AWESOME. And let me say this.....I have NEVER been someplace where there was about 5000 people wandering around having a great time and NO LITTER! The trash cans were overflowing and trash…
