Nice. I hope you find what you need to meet your goals. I'm still looking. I'm old enough to have my weight loss be slow, and it is, but I know it's not impossible.
-
Oh I dunno. I consider myself normal at 150 but all I really want to say is: Just don't lose YOU. It's amazing the things we think of though. I think of bags of flour and anything I pick up that I know the weight of. Let's do this!!

Nice. Never too late eh?

Ha, me too. Or some form of alcohol. :)

I saw this on a thread and found it through the search. Thank goodness I found some like minded people. I think alcohol is inhibiting my weight loss; I mean I hope it is cuz I'm feeling like I'm doing most things right and other than I've had this weight on my body all my life and I'm over 50 and I love cheese, I should be…

Great idea with the fork thing. I dip my salad in the dressing on the side but I like your way better! The lemon juice and oil dressing is great. Add a little dijon if you like it to mix up for a different taste.

Don't give up and be sure to give in sometimes. This site is great for support and be sure to use any other support you have in your personal life to get through your "times." We all have them. (this coming from a not only replaced woman but overlapped one!). Your children need you to feel good about yourself so let's do…

Beautiful! Great changes too.

Wow, I hope they are wrong at some point cuz my weight loss is totally gradual. My body has to get used to not carrying those extra pounds and then - after a couple weeks of keeping it off - it'll let loose of another pound or more and THEN it takes another two weeks for THAT loss to "set in." Thanks for the post and the…

I've only lost 11 pounds or so but it shows and I get no support either. No compliments, no looks, nothing. So what I'm doing is relying on this site and waiting for people I don't know very well to notice. Sometimes they don't even say anything either but I know so sometimes that's all I can count on. I have asked if he's…

Works for me that way too. So I figured that since I found something that works, keep doing it until it doesn't work anymore. I throw in *****ing about it too and that seems to kick it up a notch. :) You can look up on the internet as to why this happens if you like. I found it. However, now I'm just working out like crazy…

That's true binary jester!!.........I love it. Good for you for asking for what you want. I think that's great!!
-
Oh honey, you are being unreasonably human I think. Why do we all want to be that perfectly flat, no flaws person. It's not reality (it's helping me say this by the way cuz I want it too). You look healthy and I understand about the flat while lying down thing. Maybe you will never be perfect..........Most of us wouldn't…

That was thoughtful of him and shows he's supporting you, but yeah, ugh, that sucks!!! Remember the numbers are irrelevant at this point. As long as the numbers are going down, it's all good. Hang in.

Gorgeous. You are pretty in both pics, but wow, what a difference in you. That's so amazing. Thanks for sharing.

How about just taking one day off. I was feeling like you a bit and then last week I watched what I ate and exercised, but I didn't log in at all. It felt good. And I didn't log yesterday, but when I logged in today I added yesterday just to see where I was (which was over but that's okay). Like a gradual progression to…

That's fricking awesome. I agree!!! LMOA

Okay, for gawd's sake, make an appointment with the trainer and let them know you are freaking serious. I know about the snacking thing with dinner. DON"T do IT!!!! I can't believe how many calories I was consuming tasting stuff, cleaning someone else's plate, a couple more bites when I'm putting it away. When you feel…

First of all welcome and keep posting and logging and talking to others on here. It's a great help. For me, I noticed when I started I was constantly thinking about food. What I was going to eat, how many calories it had, how what to eat if I was going out to eat, going to friends' houses to eat, what to eat at work, the…

Welcome! and ME TOO! While I would wait for my healthy lunch to warm up, I would snack on over 100 calories of stupid chips that were sitting out on the counter. RUDE AWAKENING I'll say. This site is great for realizing your intake and getting the portions under control. Let's get fit and slender!!!

That's a great feeling........I know that feeling. Congrats.

You look great! Congratulations for having the umph to become healthy and actually run a marathon!! WTG.

Very nice! Very sexy. Good for you!

My cheat sheet says: 1/2 cup = a half of a baseball. I think spaghetti about doubles in size, so eyeball a 1/4 cup of broken up noodles and just cook that. I dunno, it's an idea. My cheat sheet also says: 3 oz of meat = a standard deck of cards (or your palm size) and 1.5 oz of cheese = 3 dominos

Oh this stick people........LOL.....I don't know much about the diet but if you would like to email me about it I'd love to know. Good losing to you!

"Life is only 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it " I love this quote you posted. We should all live it better eh? Sorry people are so dumb. You are there for you and ~insert cuss word here~ them. Are you bigger than her? Push her out of the way yourself. LOL..........Get in their way, don't get in your own…

Good luck on all your journeys...

whatever you eat (especially carb wise) make it count. Make sure it's tasty. And you are right, giving it up for life is NOT an option. It's controlled portions and don't hardly ever eat anything that is white. :)

Just do the math. 1 to 2 pounds a week. You should be down 4 to 7 pounds in a month and if it's more, woo hoo for you!!
-
Right on. You made it happen!!
