  • This is actually some good advice. Volume wise, fat, being more dense, does weigh more than muscle. The following link is a MFP woman who blogs and has a log of good info regarding your topic. Happy reading and good luck! http://www.isthisbliss.com/
  • I am no expert, but based on those days you are definitely not getting proper nutrition. As others have said, use whole foods and lose the processed pre-packaged options. You can custom tailor your requirements under settings and also goals. I also agree that you should track sodium and sugar. You are not getting enough…

  • I can only tell you what I have done. I started out at 1600 cal and just reduced it after 2 weeks (just yesterday) to 1400 cal. I didn't want to set myself up for failure! Most days I stayed well under my 1600 cal. I do not eat my exercise calories back, though I may drink them on the weekends :P Currently I have mine set…
  • I have mine set up as: Breakfast Snack 1 Lunch Snack 2 Dinner Beverages I don't always have my snacks though :)
  • After a cheat day I make sure I eat a lot of fiber, around 30g and make sure to drink more, way more than the 8 glasses of water to help push the fiber and the rest of the junk through and out of my system.
  • All I can say is I'm sorry your relationship sucks. Because it does, based on your statements only. He does not trust you. He does not like your friends. He does not like your choices. He does not like your individual activities. He does not respect your privacy. He does not respect your choices. He is not supportive of…

  • I've changed the beer I usually drink upon finding this website. The carbs alone, of my daily brew, were killing me!! http://www.beer100.com/beercalories.htm
  • If I ever wore a D cup, I'd shoot myself in the head. Just sayin :glasses:
  • The trick is to not eat "empty" carbs. I eat whole grain breads, tortilla's and pasta daily. Wheat bread is not the same as Whole Wheat bread... Check your labels and eat only whole grains.
  • I do this too. And I log all my alcohol. I also will get in extra exercise earlier in the day and the next day and be sure to drink plenty of fluid and expect the scales to rise the next day due to sodium levels :) HAVE FUN!

  • You had a lot of sodium yesterday, could be water! It takes a couple days to flush it out...
  • I would enter it in by each food. 3 egg whites, 1/2c cooked spin, 1/2 c diced tomatoes and 1/4" thick slice onion and anything else you had with it. You can check to see if there is a website affiliated with the restaurant and look up nutrition info. Additionally, there are websites who have gathered this data for several…
  • I couldn't agree more. There are so many who post "What am I doing wrong" and "I need help" but don't allow their diary's to be seen. It's rather ridiculous.

  • Use this base to make a variety of chocolaty goodness. Get creative, get healthy and reduce sugar and fat intake 1/2 c Plain FF Greek Yogurt 2TBS Unsweatened Cocoa Powder Few drops Stevia Mix it up and it tastes like thick choc pudding. Put that in a blender with some milk and ice and you get a choc shake, add a banana or…
  • Another one is I use PAM or Olive Oil spray to coat my measuring utensils so things like honey and PB don't stick.
  • Thats one of my Great Pyrenees dogs, I have two and they're cousins, I believe! *(spelling)
  • How is the pasta after freezing? Is it mushy?
  • But don't you think counting fat, fiber and protein are important?
  • NO! If something says 1 cup and you only used 1/4 cup you put .25 for that serving. If a serving size is 2TBS, and you only have a teaspoon, that would be .165. If a serving is 1/2c and you used 2 1/12c, you had 5 servings and so on and so on...
  • Or maybe my title wasn't sexy enough....
  • Perhaps I should have put a question mark in the title....
  • Milk. There are tropical trees on the other side of that inlet over there that have banana's and almonds. And since I made a mortar and pestle out of a coconut yesterday... I already had almond butter for breakfast!
  • I'm not upset. Quite the contrary, I'm very highly amused!
  •
  • Didn't we just do this yesterday?
  • this! So stealing it!
  • Nope. We tried that, couldn't agree on what they pooped.
  • I've been told that the exercise database at MFP records calories burned a little high. I would go with what you know you burned for a fact (the 420 calories) and hey, if it's more, you win in the whole scheme of things!
  • You can substitute low or no fat greek yogurt for this and add some unsweetened cocoa powder giving you a yummy rich desert! Added benefit of protein and fiber to keep you full longer!
