No it does not have to be plain water, here is a link from the nhs which will give you information on what you can drink aswel as water, it does state that all drinks do count, they just recommend you stick to water, milk and fruit juices as they are healthier: http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Goodfood/Pages/water-drinks.aspx
