I was still well north of 250 pounds when I started, and completed, C25K. It wasn't easy but it can be done especially if you don't worry about or focus on speed, that can come later. I'm running my first ever proper 5k race this coming Sunday, that wouldn't be happening without C25K.

I'm a 52 year old male, 214lbs, 5'11" and at the gym an hour ago I did 30 minutes on the Elliptical at not less than level 10 during which I covered 6 miles and my HRM reported I burned 403 calories. I had also entered my weight and age into the machine and it reported a burn of 496 calories. The heart rate it was showing…

I've eaten 5 or 6 pieces of fruit, or a portion of berries in place of a piece of fruit, each and every day since I started this in March, so I guess I would have been way over on sugar each day but I don't know because I don't monitor it. Hasn't had any adverse effect on my weight loss.

My breakfast is usually one of two options, I tend to alternate them. Option 1, porridge and wholemeal toast with peanut butter, sliced banana and cinnamon. Option 2, 4 eggs scrambled on wholemeal toast.

A calorie is a calorie regardless of the time you put it into your body. Since I've started this I've eaten when I needed to whatever the time of day and it hasn't had a detrimental effect.

Never had that happen to me.

I had similar losses during the first few weeks of my weight loss journey, which began on the 5th of March this year, and I've never been below 1500 calories at any point, most days way more than that. Started at 332 pounds and working out 5-6 times a week with a combination of cardio and weights, oh and I haven't seen any…

My scale has a female name, Sabrina. Not sure it works in my favour given that I weigh naked and that can't be a good view for her. :embarassed: A severe trimming and manscaping of the gentleman's area has to be worth something I hope. Err I mean I think. I mean so my friend told me. :ohwell:

I eat 2-3 bananas a day, have done every day since I started this back in March and they have had no detrimental effect on my weight loss. If they are getting to this stage peel them, slice them, freeze them individually in baggies then use them for smoothies later. I just did this with 6 or 7 not 20 minutes ago, and I ate…
