I couldnt do both at the same time. Once I have my weight closer to my goal I am going for it! then even if I gain 10 lbs I will be stronger to take it off again.

Walking will absolutely help her. Actually, it's prolly the best thing she can do right now. I was 287 last fall and started out walking 30 minutes a day every other day. I am now 241. you can also make your own! just buy the roasted unsalted peanuts and put them in the food processor. perfect healthy pb with no added ingredients and much less expensive than buying the same thing.
