Have you tried the lemon tea? I actually quite like that one. Haven't tried the peach. I put it in my shakes though and I like it that way!

It really is shocking how many calories one can consume while thinking that they're not doing that bad!! That's why I love tracking my calories! Ignorance is definitely not bliss when it comes to knowing what you're eating...unless you don't want to lose weight! lol I wouldn't worry about it too much though...it's already…

Hey :) I'm from the other side of Canada, but feel free to add me!
-
Are you just using the Formula 1 or are you adding in the Personalized Protein Powder too? I totally find it powdery with the Protein Powder, but without it, I loooove it!!

Amen Sistah!! :)

When I started on MFP I needed to lose just over 100lbs...I'm down a bit now, but I would be more than happy to keep anyone here in check that wants to be inspired and inspire me too!! It's a long road, but we can do it!!

I have found sketches to be extremely helpful in card making and scrapbooking. I never used to use sketches, but I loooove them now! I have a scrapbooking blog if anyone would like to check it out...there's cards and altered goodies on there too at times :) http://scrapsbysarah.blogspot.com

I'm in! I had wanted to do one a long time ago, but kind of forgot about it. I did "re take" my "before pictures" 3 weeks ago when I re-committed myself to my weight loss journey again Cathy Zielske has a great blog about scrapping your weight loss journey http://cathyzielske.typepad.com/

I love scrapbooking too! I actually told my husband when I first started eating healthy again that I was going to be scrapbooking every night because I have a hardcore munching problem at night and I don't eat when I'm scrapbooking! It was a great way for me to get a lot of scrapping done and at the same time stop my late…

I know how you feel about wanting more babies! My oldest is 6, middle is 3, and youngest is 2. I'm totally ready for another baby...now if I could only get my husband to want more babies! lol I had a hard time with nursing too...it just made me sooooo hungry!! I actually lost weight when I was pregnant, then gained it all…

I'd say you don't have to worry about being behind with a 6 day old! Congratulations!

Good job on the 1 mile walk!

I totally know how you feel! I actually lost weight when I was pregnant, but then gained it all back and more after I had my boys! Nursing made me soooo hungry that I would reach for anything I could to eat and by the time I had time to eat I was usually way too hungry to make good food choices. The protein bars are a…

I've never thought to log with a stroller...although I'm pushing 100lbs including the stroller and my two toddlers...I don't worry about it too much though, because I don't eat the calories that I burn on my workouts...but it IS nice to see the numbers go up on the calorie burn just for a personal pat on the back :)

oh, and your arms are fabulous too! They definitely don't look too bulky to me :)
-
I'm certainly not an expert on this matter, but I have been told that more stretching can help create long and lean muscles verses bulky short ones...

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but when I was breastfeeding I was on Weight Watchers, and they said that if you're exclusively nursing, then you get a bunch of extra "points" but as soon as they start eating food (which I think would be the same as supplementing) then you should only eat the points that you're…

I use half and half cream in mine...I have gone down from 2 cream and 2 sugars to just a little bit of cream, but I can't let go of the cream! I just don't like it black, and I figure if that's the only thing I'm doing that's not so great, then I'm doing okay...

my sister has pcos, and the cysts were filled with some kind of hormone that caused her to not be able to lose weight no matter what she did. once the dr figured it out and put her on some meds for it, she dropped a whole bunch of weight...maybe you should talk to your dr? also only weigh yourself once a week at the same…

are you eating all your calories even the extra ones you get from working out? sometimes your body needs more calories even than is suggested when you're exercising...hope that helps!

I have been heavy pretty much my whole life...I'm an emotional eater and I used to use food to reward myself a busy day after my kids went to bed. And I love eating junk food! although now that I've been eating quite healthy for over a month now I have noticed that I'm not craving it nearly as much and I also notice how…

also, watch how much juice you're drinking, because that's high in sugar and it isn't always from natural sources :)
-
I don't know the answer to that either, but I think that if you're going over your sugar and it's from fruit, then it's probably not that bad...if you're eating a ton of fruit for snacks or something then maybe try adding some more veggies into your diet instead? I also think that if you're losing weight, then it probably…

just putting this out there: what about a die cut swap? If you have a die cutting machine you cut out one or two of your fav dies in a neutral colour and we could all swap? I don't have a lot of time to make cards to swap, but I think it would be fun and easy to do a die cut swap...if you don't have a machine, you could…

Sooo glad to have found this group too! I'm obsessed with scrapbooking (to put it mildly!!) I just quit my job working at my Local Scapbooking store because I had no self control!! lol I need to lose about 90lbs! yikes! But I am using scrapbooking as a way to help me because I am a hardcore night eater...so instead, I…

I do know that I feel better when I eat less grains...and I also think that refined sugar is definitely not good, but I'm all about the everything in moderation lifestyle :) I don't think I could eat a strict Paleo diet.
-
I'm not sure what spices you're talking about, but 2 tsp of cinnamon has 35 calories! I didn't really think they had calories either...I mean it's not much...depending on how picky you want to be...just thought I'd let you know though!

I was totally surprised that there was sodium in celery! If you don't like the salt free canned mushrooms for cooking, try using fresh ones...they're sooo good when they're cooked! Also, you'll probably find that the less salt you eat, the less salt you need on food, so you'll probably eventually get used to the taste of…
