"You will never regret a workout" "you're only one workout away from a good mood" *so true! working out puts you in the best mood!* "the only way to finish your workout is to start" so many!!

I was the same way! I grew up in a very small town and I knew everyone. I was afraid to go for runs because I was just starting out and not very good. I didn't want people I knew to drive by and see me! I actually started using a personal trainer in another town about 15 minutes away so I didn't care who saw me. Now I…

To mimic what other people have said: I'm not doing this to be "skinny." I'm doing this to be fit, healthy, and most importantly, to be confident in my own body. If that means being "skinny," then so be it.

Today I brought grapes for my mid-morning snack, and a 100-calorie kettle corn pack for my afternoon snack.

I actually ran my first race ever this year in September, the Color Me Rad 5K. There was a "bomb squad" that threw colored cornstarch and liquid color at us as we were running. There were 4 stations throughout the race. It was crazy and so much fun!

"btw...most of the people giving it don't exactly look like Jillian Michaels" <---This is why they're saying it. They probably wish they were getting in shape like you. Let the haters hate. They won't be talking smack when you look hot! Let them motivate you.

I'm 5'8" and my goal weight is 130-135, which was my weight in college. Really want to get back into shape. I've never been toned before so I'm definitely looking for that this time around.
