I’m 3 weeks postpartum, have about 30 lbs to lose, please feel free to add me, we can support each other

I have a 2 month old, losing weight, but it's rough, I gained about 50 lbs with pregnancy and unfortunately had gained a little right before getting pregnant. I miss my old body! Maybe we can support each other!

I'm EBF as well, my son turns 2 months December 4th, so we're pretty close! I've started counting calories, La Lwche League recommends 1500-1800, so I'm following that rule. Happy to help keep each other going!

So hard to fight temptation working from home! Whenever I visit my parents, I always seem to eat bad stuff too, but keep working at it. Anytime the scale goes down, even if it's a small amount at least your moving in the right direction.

I know for me, part of the problem is that when I'm tired or stressed out, I just come home and sit on the couch and snack. In the past, it's helped me just to get out of the house, go for a walk, go shopping or go read in a coffee shop, whatever to get away from the temptation. But it's rough, I had a bad day yesterday,…

well that's better though, just stick with it.

As long as you keep moving in the right direction, I count that as progress. I'm the same way, would love 2lbs/week, but I'll take what I can get. Just need to stop the slip ups, every time I start to lose weight, I lose motivation and gain it back!

hmmm, try to stock the house with healthy snacks. I have trouble resisting snacking too, it helps to have healthy stuff easily accesible. If you like salty snacks, try the 100 calorie pack popcorn bags, I find that it can control my cravings, and portion control! Precut veggies in the fridge works well for me too.

welcome to the group! good luck.

So I slipped up a little on the food earlier, snacked a little too much, feeling a little under the weather, lounging on the couch. Took a nap, and decided I really didn't want to slip up. My first 3 days were solid, not going to let it slip. Just keep reminding yourself of the commitment you made to these 30 days, even if…

Hang in there. First 3 days have been good for me, came home today, and had a big snack that I definitely didn't need, but that's how it goes. Eyes on the prize. Guess I'll just be having a small dinner then.

I know he means well, but you have to sit your fiance down and talk to him. Tell him this is really important to you and that you need his support. This stuff happens a lot, but it's hard enough as it is, it helps if the people around you are on board.

That's why I've started this, I've been a mess, I drop a few pounds then I gain it right back. Hopefully we'll keep each other honest.

try to see if somebody can go with you, I found it a little stressful to be there by myself. Don't worry about the undressing in front of strangers part, the consultants don't care, they do this everyday, just enjoy the process.

I'm getting married Sept 2014, my diet had been going well, but then got sidetracked with celebrations (well-meaning friends), travel, then got sick. Now I'm trying to get back on track. Venue's booked, dress is purchased (it's early, but I love it!), hoping to lose 10-15 lbs. I've been having trouble with gaining and…

Getting married September 2014, I'd been going strong right before the engagement (I knew it was coming). Then I got sidetracked with celebrations, trips. Bought the dress, no more fooling around, time to get back on track. I'm looking to lose 10-15 lbs for the big day.

we can try to keep each other on track!

I love Tabata, very intense reps with 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off for cycles of 8. Combines cardio and strength training, really great for fat burning.
