That must have been so annoying! I work at the hospital I'm going to and I know that won't be allowed (thank goodness!) Thanks for the encouragement!
-
Thanks guys
-
Ah, that makes sense when you put it that way!
-
Uh oh. that doesn't bode well for me now does it? Sorry you had such a harrowing experience though! Yeah, I have no doubt that my childbirth experience will have been easier. I had such an easy labor! I'll have to tell my hubby to ask the doc for liquid meds.

That sounds yummy, I'll have to check it out

I don't think the hospital will allow me to stay overnight unless its absolutely necessary, unfortunately :frown:
-
Wow, this is all such great info! Thank you all

Thats funny you guys keep mentioning no dairy, I would never had known this because it actually recommends it on my post-op sheet. I think I'll avoid it though if its going to messes with my throat.

I'm not sure what type of tonsillectomy they are doing, but I will be going home the same day, bar complications. I'm sure my hubby will appreciate the decreased snoring  Also, I love Guinness

Thanks for sharing your stories with me :) I'm having mine removed because of cryptic tonsillitis. It doesn't matter if I am sick or not, my tonsils are always huge! I'm kind of a negative Nancy, not really expecting things to go great lol. I was thinking about protein shakes during the first few days, any thoughts on that?

I just have to say that I wasn't expecting to hear that I look younger and it feels awesome! Thank you!

During BBL I lost 16 pounds. I lost an inch from my neck and 3 inches from my waist. My measurements say I only lost an inch from the widest part of my hips but I lost 1 to 2 pants sizes (depending on the brand) and my bottom got a lot higher and a lot less jiggly, lol. I would definitely recommend it! It was kind of fun…

Wow! Thank you so much everyone. You are awesome motivators!

Thank you!

Because you would still be eating in a deficit if you consider how much you are burning. You really should not be netting a negative amount. That is like not eating at all.

I definitely agree that it is hard to reach your BMR some days. I just try to give it a good effort and have some calorie dense snacks on hand. Sometimes I don't quite make it because I'm too full.
-
http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ I've been told this calculator is the most accurate. It will tell you your BMR, which you should not net below. It will also give calorie goals based on your activity level. Also the group Eat more to weigh less has a lot of awesome info if you're interested.

Heart rate monitor. I've heard from a bunch people on here that the machines aren't actually that accurate. I don't use the machine's monitor, so I'm not sure. If your calories burned are correct though, and you are only eating 1200 calories a day than you are actually netting negative calories which is not so good.
-
I really don't think you should be netting negative calories. Do you have a HRM? How accurate are your calories burned? In my own experience, and I am definitely not an expert lol, I was eating 1200 calories and I was losing weight. It only lasted about 2 months though and I plateaued for almost a month. Now I try to net…

I just started level 3 yesterday and since I started I went from a size 14 to a size 9, pants I haven't worn in 3 years. Definitely keep at it, it is so worth it

You mentioned yawning, that happens to me too. What causes that?
-
I don't think a girl could have better abs than yours
-
Haha maybe. I should ask them that.
-
Nope, I should be doing some right now instead of forum surfing.
-
Thanks for this. If your mom can do it so can I!
-
Yeah, they definitely could have been more mature about it.

If she was here she'd probably have us all doing push ups, lol!
