On the website for Trutein you can order samples of the flavors to try first! I think it is ~$2 for each flavor and it makes one protein shake. I did that first to try all the flavors and decide if I liked it and which flavor I liked best.

I use Truetein Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup and it is DELICIOUS!! The other flavors are also amazing (cinnabun, chocolate dipped strawberry, chocolate covered banana)...it's a blend of whey, casein and egg white protein. 23g protein and 115 calories for most of the flavors. It also has Omega 3s, BCAAs, Glutamine and a whole…

Awesome!! Anyone can add me as well :)

You should definitely be eating more! If you are working out for that long and only eating 1000-1200 you are probably under your BMR. Try eating back the calories you burn and aim for NET calories closer to 1400-1500.

Check out the group on here called "Eat more to weight less." There are a whole bunch of us that eat way over 1500 :)

I'd stick to planks to help strengthen your core and not worry about doing all sorts of other sit ups. Abs are visible when your body fat is low but a strong core is needed to do just about anything.

I have the same problem and my boyfriend suggested that I try kneeling on the ground with my arm resting across a bench, holding a dumbbell in your hand and then roll it up so you're just moving your wrist basically. He said it would help strengthen my forearms and grip which seems to be holding me back.

I tend to choose fish tacos lately or you could order the fajitas which you usually assemble yourself and that way you can choose how much meat, veggies, etc you put in each fajita.

I gained weight mostly due to the changes in my diet when I went away to college but even more so when I quit college track and stopped regularly working out. Working out became a thing a completely dreaded after being a serious runner for 6+ years. Then after college I moved to Europe for one year and despite thinking…

I love wearing heels but I always feel like I am too tall with them. I've never had boyfriends more than 2-3 inches taller than me so when I wear them we are basically the same height and sometimes I'm taller. I feel like a giant haha

I'm 143 and I wear size 4-6 in jeans. The size 4s are a tad tight in my thighs but loose on my waist and size 6 comfortable on my thighs but too big in the waist..

I'm part of the "Eat More to Weigh Less" group and I'm 143 pounds eating 1965 a day. I don't eat back my exercise calories unless I am under my BMR ~1400.

CW 143 GW 130-135 My lowest was 132 but I'd like to have more muscle than I did then. Once I reach my goal weight I'm going to work on adding more muscle and see how my weight goes from there..
-
130-135 and then when I'm there I'll reevaluate. I'm at 143 now.
-
I'm 5'7'' and in my before pictures was probably around ~175...the during picture ~147 I'd say. Right now I am 143 but I don't think there is much difference yet. My goal weight is 130 but it is dependent on how fit I am. I don't want to look skinny, I want to be healthy, happy and fit.

haha I call it Riverside too...I grew up going there!

I really like using my whey isolate protein. I add almond milk, usually a banana and some ice. It's great post workout or sometimes I add more fruit to substitute for breakfast. It gets nice and thick and creamy with the added ice and the protein makes it fluff up, if that makes sense. There are so many different flavors…

Hey everyone...I'm from Suffield. Right on the mass border by Six Flags!

If it's hot out, I definitely run in just a sports bra. I find it so much more comfortable and then I get a breeze on my belly. My stomach is somewhat flat so I can imagine if I felt bigger and more self-conscious I would be less likely. But I don't think that it is inappropriate. My goods are covered and if I am working…

would love some more friends as wel :)

Add me too! I've just started but I'm aiming for ~1900 calories.

Hello! I've just joined this group although I've been a member of MFP for a few months. I've lost probably 7 pounds since joining and I just feel like I spend so much time counting calories and stressing out about making sure I don't eat too much. I keep reading more about higher calorie intakes and long-term success and I…
