Look up "The Primal Blueprint" by Mark Sisson. It's a gluten free, lower carb eating plan which does make some provision for Vegetarian.

I'm just starting day 68 of X3 in about 15 minutes. I do like it, but I find that I still need to go out for a 20 minute run after the workout. I enjoyed p90x2 more.

I'll mix one or two cups of whole unpasteurized milk with whey protein throughout the day, about 3-5 days per week, but it does give you about a 13 gram carb hit for each cup. I eat Primal, so I'm typically going from 50 to 120 carbs per day in total anyways.
