today is day 6 at level one for me. I seem to be getting through it - but those arm raises with the side lunges - OMG feel like my arms are going to fall off! lol bit worried about starting level 2 after all the comments on here - it can't be that bad right? :ohwell:

thanks guys. Training is going well, so far. I have come across terms like TEMPO training, on the plans I have downloaded. It said run 5 mins warm up, 5 mins easy pace, 5 mins fast, 5 mins easy, 5 mins fast, 5 mins cool down (to start with) and then to build this up so there are longer fast periods and shorter easy pace…

Today will be day 5 for me. I'm struggling with the arm raises when you do the side lunges - they are killers - keeping at it though - no pain no gain right? :) Can you tell me, when do we move up levels? Is it 10 days per level? thanks Sheena x

I'm doing the falkirk race for life too. I also do the Strathcarron 10k - thats in October - you might be interested in that one. I heard there was a 10k in September in Stirling - thats a flatter course if your interested?

I'm definitely thinking about it - has registration opened? You've got plenty of time to train - just believe in yourself - a fantastic cause. how much water should I be drinking? I'm going for a glass everytime I feel hungry, having that first to try and combat the food wants. I know I'm not hungry so don't want to say hunger pangs! Islandjumper - I'm also a vegetarian - do you have any other tips?
