  • I feel terrible for not even posting--I've been having a terrible week and totally fell off the workout wagon! (stupid women issues!) I think I'm going to start over this week and try to pick it back up, but if anyone is still going strong, awesome for you! Keep us posted! :)
  • Bookmarking! You guys are all SO INSPIRATIONAL! You all look amazing!!!!
  • Did the 2 "Burn" ones back to back. Not really feeling it yet, but I know I will during Cardio Party--when I first got the DVD I tossed in CP to see how bad it was, and didn't even make it 15 minutes in without having to stop! Haha. I can't wait till I can make it all the way through without quitting! Since today is the…
  • I got busy and didn't get to it last night! Sheesh. Gonna do it back to back tonight though and bust out the 2 20minutes ones. :D Love how I start the thread but don't even get to it. Ugh, hate when life happens!
  • One DVD of the set should have the Learn And Burn/20 Min Workout, and the other should have Cardio Party/Ab Jam. I know that Turbo Sculpt is on one of them too--probably the one with L&B. So you should have all the workouts. If not, just substitute another one instead of the Turbo Sculpt. Not really a big deal either way,…
  • I'll post starting measurements tonight when I get home--I work early/all day so I'll be doing day one a little later tonight. :D Post measurements if you want before you start, and let's get going on this! :)
  • There's a DVD you'd need, just called Turbo Jam. I got mine super cheap on eBay, spent about $15 after shipping. :)
  • Married to my hubby for 4 years (together for over 11 though, high school sweethearts! ), have a kitty as our baby (who loves the hubby but hates me :grumble: ), and I co-own a local video store with my father. Also just finished up a degree in Psychology. I keep pretty busy.
  • I finished it the other day, did my measurements...didn't lose a single inch ANYWHERE! I stuck to my calorie limits for the most part, fluctuated a couple pounds...but nothing fits better or looks different. Sigh. Maybe the shred just doesn't do it for me. I'm taking this week off (still counting cals but just not…
  • Sorry to threadjack (sorta) but I kind of have this same problem! It started about last summer. I'd wake up in the middle of the night SO ITCHY, and would get these horrible rashes/bumpy skin problems. It didn't go away in the winter, but I finally got it slightly under control by using more lotions and keeping cool while…
  • Haha, that's what I thought, that I could walk a faster mile! LOL. So maybe I should just go until I hit a certain number of calories that I want to burn, or just go for a certain time. Usually I just enter 1 mile for distance for my goal, and go from there, which is about 30minutes with moderate to hard effort. I should…
  • Interesting, that never occurred to me. However, I've used quite a few of the machines, and a couple different brands, and it seems I'm still averaging anywhere from 25-30 minutes/mile. So I think it might be me. :ohwell:
  • We don't have special changing rooms, but I've still never had to deal with completely naked people, haha! Usually just topless, but that's cool with me, I mean hey, I gotta change too! MAN, some of these stories are just awesome/horrible! I hope I'm never looked at like a weirdo!
  • Yeah, just took official measurements for Turbo Jam,and compared them to my blog measurements from when I started 30DS--not a single change, and I also did NMTZ and BFBM a couple times, went to the gym about 3x/week, and took a kickboxing class once a week during all this. I wonder if I'm measuring wrong or something. I've…
  • I've taken unofficial measurements a couple times (only 3 more Level 3s to go till done) and either I'm not doing it right, or I haven't lost anything... I don't really notice clothes fitting better or looking more fit, except for maybe a little pinching in around my sides, but not enough to make my jeans baggy. Getting…
  • I'm starting the beginner's schedule for Turbo Jam tomorrow, so if that goes well I'll consider getting TF later after I finish. :D Good luck though!
  • Sorry, stupid double post...
  • How long did it take everyone to get used to the moves in Turbo Jam? I just tried my DVD for the first time tonight and I only made it through about 30 minutes of Cardio Party, but I'd just done 30 Day Shred Level 3, heh, so I was tired. But it was taking me forever to catch onto the moves. Does it get easier?!
  • I only had 4 because there's 8 in the package and my hubby gets the other 4. Otherwise I'd eat the entire batch myself!
  • This is a fantastic thread. I admit to watching people at the gym, but sadly, our gym doesn't really have that many interesting people. There is a lady in my kickboxing class though. She's there pretty much everytime I've gone, no matter what day of the week. She is HARDCORE but also extremely irritating. Monday night…
  • Day 3 of Level 3 went easier. I'm trying my hardest on those stupid plank moves (the mountain climbers and the forearm up/down ones) but I just can't do more than a few without my arms completely giving out on me. Sigh. Also, I subbed the "squirms" move (from my last post) in place of the "supermans" on the first strength…
  • Day 2 of Level 3 down. I was already worn out from doing an hour of kickboxing class at the gym, but I figured maybe I was at least warmed up enough. I still can't do all the moves "correctly" so I modify them further. There's a couple cardio moves that I can't do--jumping squats and sumo squats. I just do regular squats…
  • Level 3 was a freaking cakewalk compared to 2!! A couple plank moves, sure, but I actually enjoyed the exercises a lot more. Except for the 2nd cardio circuit, with the jumping, that kinda sucked.
  • Sorry, double post!
  • I lost track of my days, but according to my math, I AM DONE WITH LEVEL 2 TONIGHT. I thought I had another day after today. I am SO HAPPY OMG. I hate Level 2. About to do the last day of it after posting this, after getting back from the gym I feel pretty warmed up and I hope I can blast it out. I'm actually EXCITED for…
  • She does do a lot of jumping, so if you have bad knees, make sure you follow modified instructions (watching Anita on the right...or her left...whatever, she'll tell you) or just kinda modify it on your own. But yes, be careful =)
  • My current schedule (SUPPOSED to be, haha, been busy/sick the last two days) is: 30DS: every day, it's only 20 minutes NMTZ: Tues/Thurs/Sat (every other day, essentially, may not fall on these days but don't want to overdo it by doing it every day) Gym cardio--Elliptical/Treadmill/Kickboxing: Mon/Wed/Fri (basically, on the…
  • I recently asked the same question. Here's the advice I got, and it has worked well so far. Start with the 30 Day Shred (just the regular one). Make it through a few days of it at least, maybe finish Level 1 at the least (10 days per level). AFTER that, you'll be more used to her workout style, so you can start the others.…
  • I'm usually the same way. I actually skipped a couple days because of similar issues one day and sheer laziness the other day. I felt horrible about it, even though I'm not trying to do a schedule with everyone else, but I WANTED to be done in 30 days. I decided to take the smarter route and count the number of workouts I…
  • It's super hard to change eating habits, so this is going to take a long time. :) I appreciate the advice though! I only have it set at 1lb/week right now, with 2 workouts planned. I'm technically on a 'sedentary' lifestyle, I don't really do much, heh. I've been trying to ramp it up with the 30DS and introducing No More…
