I had one. However after consistently NOT getting a consistent weight, I returned it. I would step on, get a weight. Step off and wait for the screen to go dark (or whatever). I'd step back on it and get a different number. I had this on a smooth cement floor. I would weigh myself five times every day for a week. Honestly,…

How much does this cost? Just curious. I'm always up for trying something new.

I have a protein shake every morning for breakfast. One scoop of Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle, one scoop of Big Train Fit Frappe Mocha, 8 ounces of light soy milk, a frozen banana (or some other frozen fruit), and a little water so it isn't quite as thick. Sometimes I'll toss in some spinach and baby carrots too. My…

^This. But I can have teaspoon and then walk away. :)

Amazon has a box of 12 for $14.99 and free Prime shipping. You can get them a little cheaper if you sign up to have the auto ship. I used to get them until I tried the Quest protein bars. Now that's all I get. Twice the protein (around 20 grams) for about the same amount of calories. Granted, they also cost more. (AND you…

We've found the cauliflower crust to be very tasty! I haven't made this in awhile... but I think I'm going to have to now. Thanks for the reminder!!! (I am NOT a fan of cauliflower, but this stuff is good.) :)

Amen. To me, even without the measurements, as long as I know that I did was I was supposed to, I know my body will respond eventually. I just posted in another thread how I have had stalls that lasted three weeks. The good news is that I expect the stalls now and then, and I know my body is just catching up.

Do you use a heart rate monitor or something like that? If not, you might want to invest in one. (Even a BodyMedia device.) These will provide you with real time accurate caloric burn information specifically for you, not some mythical 140 pound person. (Not that 140 pound people don't exist....) LOL Stalls DO happen too.…

How about drinking an Ensure shake at least once a day along with whatever else you are eating? Or could you see a nutritionist to help you determine what to eat?

Is DD's Dunkin Donuts? I googled and found this: https://www.dunkindonuts.com/content/dunkindonuts/en/menu/nutrition/nutrition_catalog.html?nutrition_catalog_hidden=0&nutrition_catalog_needType=Drinks&nutrition_catalog_selPage=3&nutrition_catalog_perPage=100

I like the Syntrax Nectar Vanilla Bean Torte and Chocolate Truffle flavors. I also like Big Train's Fit Frappe Mocha protein powder. I typically have a scoop of either Syntrax Nectar flavor, a scoop of the Fit Frappe, and 8 ounces of light soy milk for breakfast. I also toss in some spinach leaves and baby carrots plus…

While I do have some Pure Protein bars, my vote goes to Quest. I don't get that yucky aftertaste with the Quest bars.

Wow! That link had a lot of information: http://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/wiki/quick Particularly talking about the cup size NOT actually changing as the cup letter increasing with the band size. I always that that a C-cup stayed the same size for volume, just that the band increased, etc. I do wish that my back fat…

Bad drivers. I carry an invisible gun in the center console of my car. When I get really annoyed, I carefully open the console and take out my gun. I make a point of keeping it low, beneath the window, and the POW! Then I put it away and continue on. I told this to some of my co-workers one day and they thought it was…

My brother, his wife, and all five "adult" children (18-25) saw me at Christmas and didn't comment on the loss.... and I saw them again at the youngest's high school graduation reception, weighing another 40 lbs less, and no weight loss comments. However... My brother's ex-wife's husband DID tell me that I was looking…

I second (or third, fourth, fifth) the comment on getting a professional bra fitting. I had been a 50C and after a fitting, found that I'm a solid 40C now. My current favorite bra is Vanity Fair - Beauty Back Back Smoother Wirefree #71380. It's a super comfortable t-shirt bra that makes the girls look AWESOME. Well, I also…

Dumb question, but can we just go in and ask for a new driver's license?
-
Ha!! I need a new picture too. So... I've lost 127 pounds, but I'm only 40 pounds less than what I have on my driver's license.

I haven't tried "shelf stable" soy milk, but I've used the light soy milk from Wal-Mart (Great Value brand) for over a year. If I can't get to Wal-Mart, I'll get the name brand stuff. I get typically get the original, but the vanilla is good too.

I really find the Bodymedia Fit Link to be motivational.

The best advice I can give is to not buy any food that isn't on your plan. :) Single living dieting is way easier than married living dieting or sharing a home with other peeps. At least you are in control of what food is brought in. (Not counting dorm living and the school's food plan though... but if you are living…

I found it easier to just take the Bodymedia off while on any bike (indoor/outdoor) and then use the Edit Off Body feature via their website.

Great loss!! :) Your photos definitely show that you are "working it"!! Isn't it amazing how we need to see photos of ourselves sometimes in order to "see" the change? That reminds me, I need my hubs to take my pictures again.
-
Don't forget to work on getting your water in too. :) I'm STILL working on that part. I just seem to "forget".

I had my surgery 7/24/12 and have lost 123 pounds so far. I'm eating around 900-1100 calories, give or take. I do still have a protein shake for breakfast because it's a good shot of protein (30 grams) and some caffeine. I have a scoop of Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle or Vanilla Torte with a scoop of Big Train Fit…

Holy buckets!! You've done a simply AMAZING job at transforming your body!!!

And... when the hubs and I were still dating, actually the month before he proposed, we both got this fortune in our cookies: And when we were waiting for my engagement ring to be "built" - we picked out the diamond and the setting - we got these fortunes. While not the SAME, they seemed appropriate.
-
The funniest I've ever received was "Whew! About time I got out of that cookie!" I stuck it on our fridge because it makes me smile every time I see it. :)

What was the brand? Quest makes a "to die for" chocolate brownie protein bar. You need to nuke it for about 15 seconds and then it tastes like a fresh brownie - amazing! So is their chocolate chip cookie dough bar. Nuke it and it tastes like a fresh from the oven cookie.
