Agreed. So cute. :)

Weight training is really amazing, isn't it? You are looking awesome. I admire anyone who has nice round hips like yours. :)
-
Awesome work! And also, I like those shorts. :)
-
Wow wow wow! Amazing progress. You are an inspiration. :)
-
@goldenboy - Yes, but only if you changed your shirt first.

My friend said this to me recently: Just do better than you did yesterday. That's all you need to do. You will be ok.

I use it in baking. Any mention of sour cream and/or butter is replaced with Greek yogurt and skim milk.

Hmm, apparently an hourglass. I think my shoulders make me look wider on top, tho.

This is like all challenges in life. I recently chatted with someone who has just got his blood pressure under control. When I asked him what he did, he said simply, "I tried as much as possible to do better than I did the day before. If I ate 9 cookies the day before, I tried not to do that the next day." All we can do is…

Sharing food with others is at the very heart of my family's culture. It's something I've forgotten about in my day-to-day North American life!

I'm Asian and I'm 5' 9" and wear heels. Yep, you're right... not a problem. ;)
-
I'm 5'9" and I wear heels all the time. I am of the opinion that nobody MAKES people feel anything. It's up to them to get over it, not me. Stand tall!

Yeah!! It's been ages since I had meatloaf. It's time to fix that!

Steel cut oatmeal with flax seeds and wheat germ. It's a pre-mixed bag I get from the supermarket (look up Rogers Steel Cut Oatmeal). I cook a bunch of it on the weekend with ripe bananas, skim milk and a teaspoon of vanilla thrown in. It's filling and fuels me up for the day.

@Petef82 The facial hair. :)

The worst times for me are when I am really, really tired. It's better for me to make sure I rest enough and that I've fueled my body enough, because then I am conscientious enough to make sure I am making good choices. I was also on medication for depression until about a year ago, and I was also seeing a therapist. He…

@AltaicaTigre: Yes!
-
Totally. :)

Thanks for the warning. I think this will help a lot of people. Most people bury their head in the sand when this sort of thing happens, but you were brave enough to come and tell us about it. You are doing so great with your weight loss. Congratulations on your strength and dedication.

Great skin and eyes!

Bump. I know what I'm doing this weekend!
-
Your hair is beautiful!

Shoulders and chest. :)

YES. Good workout pants with a drawstring are essential for me! I have such a hard time finding pants that don't slide down because I have somewhat slender hips. I cannot concentrate if I'm worrying about my pants falling around my ankles. :P

I started at 248, chose a goal of 170 which was the top end of my BMI. I lost the weight because I didn't want to have high blood pressure and diabetes like my mother. I am now 169. I didn't think I'd look like this at this weight: I thought I'd be a lot pudgier. I'm pleasantly surprised at how I look now, and I think it…

This is me, three weeks ago. I hope to goodness I still look the same!

I have slender hips, and you know what? I can't get a fricking pair of jeans to fit me properly, even after my weight loss. Count yourself lucky that the world knows how to make clothes for you!
-
Yum! That looks so good!

Losing weight is a head game as much as it is physical work. Try to make sure you are fueling your body with enough food as you make changes to your lifestyle. By that, I mean you need to eat enough good, healthy calories to make sure you aren't tired. That means you are eating back the calories you get back through…

Fantastic shoulders and hair!
