I log in my food every night before going to sleep for the next day. My mornings rarely change, lunch I can easily adjust if needed, and I always leave room for dinner which is hardly ever decided until the night of. But because I already have it mapped out, it's easy for me to adjust the foods as long as I keep the…

. I have previously been successful with WWs. But my focus has changed and having others take charge & do the 'work' in calculating my daily food intake without a 'real' nutritional focus, doesn't cut it for me anymore; MFP has been the best change I've made.

Looking good!!!!!!!

I have previously been successful with WWs. I thought that their new points system would be a good change, but "my" focus has changed. Having others take charge & do the 'work' in calculating my daily food intake without a 'real' nutritional focus, doesn't cut it for me anymore. And overdoing it on zero-point foods…

Love it!! Years ago, I received a 16 lb turkey at work, a few weeks later when I had lost my first 16 lbs of 65, it was a great visual to have! :D

Per my gyno's recommendation, I am taking Vitamin D, Biotin and B12, and DHA Omega 3. I have a rheumatological disorder and perimenopausal, she suggested I try these to help ease/lessen my multiple symptoms.

I signed up on MFP about six months ago, during that time I was still paying on my online WWs account. Finally decided to cancel it a couple of weeks ago when some friends mentioned they had just started MFP in lieu of WWs.

I'm not Mexican, but I grew up in a predominantly Mexican-American home & town. My husband is Mexican. So, for me to give up Mexican food is not an option, nor do I want to give it up. :) But, I have found that I can modify most of our favorite recipes to reduce calories and make healthier versions without losing flavor.…

I had downloaded another app, LoseIt. But then came across MFP and decided to try it because of many good reviews it received. I started using it on and off about 6 months ago. Recently some friends posted about it & I decided to give it a more serious go at it. So far so good!

Sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing!

^^^Exactly!

bump I have to try this!

I wish I had not given up when I was about 30 lbs away from goal about 20 years ago. Now, I have to lose over 100 lbs to get to goal. Do not seek perfection, you will only find disappointment. More important is to be determined, dedicated and persistent! DO NOT EVER GIVE UP!! You CAN do this! One day at a time!

Great job!!! Congrats!!!

No shame in losing 71 lbs in 3 years, if anything it shows that you are dedicated, focused, and making a lifelong change! Keep up the good work!!

Great job!! Congrats!

Zang, you said the following, "From what I know, they are ok for overly obese people who have no brains.... Or is it more money than brains? " That statement alone says you believe I have no brains. No point in trying to educate 'you' on a matter on which you have already placed judgement. As to your lack of friends, maybe…

^^^^agreed Anyone on any kind of weight loss plan struggles with food, regardless of background, education, brains, or the lack-thereof as in the case of the poster above, zangwhatever, who considers obese people as brainless. Your obvious contempt of obese people more than likely stems from your own fear of becoming…

I lost 65 lbs on WWs back in my 20's. Kept it off for years, then slowly regained. I rejoined WWs a few years ago and lost about 30 lbs. and mostly due to me not staying on track, I stalled. Then they switched to the new points system and I thought it might be a good change, but it just was way more complicated to follow.…
