I've found that I can keep a bag of chocolate chips in the freezer. If I'm really craving chocolate, a tablespoon of chips eaten one at a time keeps me from going overboard.

Depo has been the worst BC I've been on. I started losing hair, which has not grown back. Terrible mood swings, weight gain and when I was on Depo, they didn't want you taking it longer than X amount of years because there was something about depo making the bones less dense. Google it. Congratulations on quitting! You've made an excellent choice. I'm working on a year and a half of no cigarettes and I can tell you I don't miss smoking at all.
